HP 2309m won't turn on - damage lightning

Hi, a recent lightning storm has left me with 2 LCDs and 2 Satellite boxes malfunctioning so rather than see them go to landfill I'm starting out on repairs and need some newbie guidance, thanks:

My HP monitor (2309m, LG23" screen) won't turn on at all - it usually has a blue LED when on/nothing when off. If I plug in, LED is white all the time. I stripped the unit down, no obvious damage to either board or caps.

I checked the power from the power supply pinouts to the controller board but have no guide to know which ones are which, I have ten in total:

    2 red are giving 5v,
    1 blue = 2.65v
    1 green = 0.45v
The rest have no voltage. This is in standby mode.

I have checked resistance on (what I think is) the primary fuse - shows 0.3ohm - see pic attached for what I am testing.

Any guidance from the experts here? thanks in advance

MB no turn on, apparent damage but voltage, but none from voltage reg IC - ThinkPad P17 MB NM-C651 - what next?
    by wraster
Hi, I have a ThinkPad P17 motherboard with intel chipset, NM-C651 that appears to not power on.

    - No light with DC plugged in, no signal to external monitor connected directly to HDMI on motherboard (no GPU module attached).
    - There appears to be damage on a ferrite bead chip (pic here) on the main power rail (20 V), but there is a 20V reading to the in-side, and 15V reading on the out-side. After this chip, the power goes to an IC that I think regulates voltage (NCP81210MNTXG_QFN40, PU1301 in the boardview screenshot here), but I read no voltage on pin 7, nor 11-13.

Panasonic TH-50PX80 killed by lightning strike, help me save her!
    by SluggerB
Yes it's a 17 year old Panasonic plasma!

I was watching TV when there was a huge lighting strike nearby my house that shook the house. When that happened, the picture on the TV froze and the TV wouldn't turn off except by pulling the power cable. Now if you plug in the TV, it seems to turn on (it makes the turn on "clikcs" it always does, the red power light comes on but there is no picture, although I can see the back light around the edges. And the TV doesn't respond to the power button on the remote to turn off, and doesn't respond to the manual power button on the front...

Acer Aspire 4520 won't turn on after reboot
    by robante15
Hello, I have an Acer Aspire 4520 from a couple of decades ago and I want to repair it solely for nostalgia.

It happens that when I turn it on after having been disconnected for a long time, it turns on without problems, it tells me that the BIOS has been reset and that it will load the factory settings, if I tell it to continue, the computer turns on and everything works fine.

The moment I turn it off and want to turn it back on a second time, or restart it and try to start it again, it no longer gives an image, and it no longer responds.

    If I remove the...
