Asus X555LD after watter damage - won't turn OFF

    Hello,
I have a problem with Asus X555LD after watter damage.

The KBC chip with some traces was damaged.
I changed KBC chip, repair trace. Laptop works great, but if I turn it off,
it turn on again. If I put adapter in it, it power on.

Any idea? Schematic is not available..

Which version of X555LD is your board ?

Need to check your DCin mosfets to see if they are leaking.

You turn it off from windows and it reboots instead of shutting down?? Is this what you mean??

Or whenever adapter is connected it auto turns on-which one do you mean??

Both. it looks like a workoholic :-) There is no way how to power off this laptop if battery is charged or adapter is inserted.
If I push power button for 6 seconds to power off, after 0,5 seconds it power on again.

Its usually related to PCI_Wake signal. In absence of schematics for asus, thats difficult to trace. I'll suggest the following:
01.Clean install windows with no drivers installed
              02.Remove Wifi card
03.Remove power button and try to turn off with tweezers.
              04.Remove Lan chip

If still problem persists, probe dc-dc conversion circuit and/or remove audio/card reader chip also.

PS: I assume you have already tried bios flash.

There is a no HDD, WiFi modul and still do it the same.
Power button is on the board directly, but I checked it - button is OK.

On the KBC should not be any signal for that?

Search for the keyword 'wake' to see if any such signals are present on the logic board.
