What is the difference between a 24V and a let's say 125V fuse? I have a 125V in there for now.
Not much really for this use. the Voltage is the max voltage the fuse can handle but it is the amperage that matters.
    So at say 20v level you could use a 4A 24v 36v 64v 125v fuse.
The 125v might just take a millisec or so longer to blow when the 4A is exceeded.

At 120v they would all blow except the 125v one.

The other considerations are whether it is fast blow or slow blow ceramic or glass - replace a ceramic with a glass and it blows you could have shards of glass everywhere. Again with smd you should get the same physical size use a smaller one it could pop when it blows and cause collateral damage.
Please upload pictures using attachment function when ask for help on the repair

Thanks. I don't know which one is F200? It could be a fast blow?
I have soldered in a ceramic Littlefuse which is a bit bigger in size. I haven't checked wich type is it, but I can check the packaging.

hmm....that actually contradict to what i've always thought about fuse rating.

i always thought that the wattage is what counts. that is, if i were to replace a 1a 250v fuse with a 125v type, i would use a 2a so that the wattage remains the same, and vice versa. so if i will to use a 24v type i would have to use a 10a fuse at least.

          am i wrong?

Macbook 2017 with touchbar (A1706) won't turn on after removing the screen
            by Ryan.man
Hello everybody! Posting this in hopes somebody has some expertise that leads to a clear path of troubleshooting that saves me a lot of time!

My macbook has the flex cable problem, the one that prevents the screen turning on. Ive been dealing with this for the last 3 years. Last year it went dead and I managed to fix it following youtube tutorials. But my fix wasnt the best, the problem returned a month later. This week, it went dead again. I again tried to fix it.

This time the original cable broke too close to the screen, it can't be fixed without tearing the screen...

AOC 27 monitor Q27G2WG4 doesn't display logo or image on screen
            by 3D Modelka
Hello. I have a problem with my AOC 27 monitor, specifically model Q27G2WG4, which I have been using for 3 years. The monitor stopped turning on: when I turn it on, the backlight turns on, the indicator starts glowing white, but the logo on the screen does not appear, and there is no image. However, if I check in the Windows system, the monitor is displayed as connected and working. I tried connecting it via HDMI and DP, but the result remains the same. If I turn the monitor on and off multiple times, it will eventually start and work. However, when the monitor is working, there are no issues....

Looking for help with a Viewsonic VP230mb where the backlight comes on only momentarily
            by lostone
Hello, I came here after finding some similar questions asked on other monitors and hope someone here can help me get an ancient Viewsonic VP230mp (23" 4:3 LCD) back to working condition.

First a little background, I have a background in computer and electrical engineering, and I'm smart enough to know I know nothing about LCD displays and how they work. For this topic I'm as green as they come.
When the display is turned on the viewsonic logo displays in the uppper left for 2 seconds then the screen goes black, the power LED is green (on) and when a computer is connected...

HP gaming 15-0013dx quanta G3HA no video, screen polarize on and off loop
            by ferah831208
I have an HP gaming 15-0013dx laptop , motherboard quanta G3HA with AMD Ryzen 5 cpu and Nvidia discrete grsphics card. The laptop turns on and u can see the screen polarizing on and off in a loop but no video signal. All voltages are ok measured and stable (I checked all with oscilloscope). This schematics don't have power sequence but I'm using a similar sequence from another laptop with AMD CPU and I get all to the point CPU must release apu_pwrok and apu_rst#, this signal comes valid only for the period of time the screen is polarized and they disappear and same loop behaviour (active/inactive)....

I need help with my friend Sony GDM-FW900 24” CRT
            by matthewmcconaughey
Hello, Badcaps is my last resort. I am the first owner of the monitor. I reached almost every repair store in my area, but no one even wanted to hear about troubleshooting an old CRT monitor. At this point, I have been trying to figure it out by myself, but I have no idea where to start or look for.

I wish to know how to think and locate a failing component. I will put all my efforts to learn and contribute.
