    Try google smd fuse marking
I set it aside because I don't have the experience nor the right equipment to deal with SMD parts. Considering the prices of used LCD's have been dropping hard to justify the expense in a hot air station etc.

I did try Googling smd fuse marking.. found everything but W

Ok not all of us have hot air stations - these fuses are big enough to solder.
It is a 4A 32V FAST blow as seen here:
      http://www.ebay.com/itm/4A-SMD-Fuse-...item4aa5841cae

You can get them ( though not necessarily with a W on) at various places cheaper than ebay if you are buying other things to defray the postage.

It can be soldered fairly easily using a 25up to 40 watt soldering iron - you just
put it on top of the one that is already there - you can even glue it down in the middle and then it is easy just to apply a small smear of solder at each end.
Please upload pictures using attachment function when ask for help on the repair

You do not have to remove the old blown fuse, just lay the new one on top and solder both ends to the old fuse.

Thanks for the lead on Ebay for this fuse.. next stock order I do, will see if Digikey has them.

Thanks for all your help with this monitor.. what the heck I will order the mosfets as well and see what happens. Might be a while before I report back.. have other obligations before I do this but will keep you posted.
