A little more searching and I found that R135 is 47ohm and R136 is 150ohm based on the attached image on post #24 of the thread "Dell 3007wfp No Image".

Please keep us posted if it fixed the problem. When that IC blows up, it will usually take out the Gate drive resistor and diode and the MOSFET also.

Apologies for the very late reply. The TEA1552 did the job, I managed to find a local source for the IC, pack of 5 was about $5 and told him to take it to a electronic repair place close to him and they fixed it for him!
