  • Help identify component?

It's a Toshiba part from an automotive ABS module, full part number and datasheet would be great thanks....

  • Re: NAD T751 left channel dead

Ok I have not done much about this but the weird thing is not so long ago both channels started working again and then back to left only. Today the left channel is dead but the right channel now works, wtf!?!?

I dunno if it's my imagination but the relay no longer sounds the same when it kicks in, it use to have a lot louder click from what I recall.

    NAD T751 left channel dead

    Hi,

I noticed today that there is no sound output from the left channel of my nad t751 a/v receiver. Only thing you hear occasionally is a scratchy/crackling sound almost like when trying to manually tune a fm radio.

Where do I even start to try and identify what lost it's magic smoke so I can try and repair it? Still need to go hunt for schematics as well.

    Thanks in advance.

  • Re: Dell 3007WFP LCD Monitor PSU problem.

Apologies for the very late reply. The TEA1552 did the job, I managed to find a local source for the IC, pack of 5 was about $5 and told him to take it to a electronic repair place close to him and they fixed it for him!

Thanks for your help, much appreciated. I know it's a very late reply but better late than never!...

    Re: Capacitor

Commutator is fine, I cleaned it up.

The brushes on the other hand are somewhat unevenly worn in a leading-trailing edge direction and I could have put them back swapping them around I suspect. I will turn each one 180 degrees tomorrow if I get time as it means stripping the entire mixer body again, sigh...

Is it possible to grind/sand the brushes flat again? Asking as it will be some time before I can get new ones....

    Re: Capacitor

My motor is jerky at low rpm, however when I turn the mixer onto it's back or upside down the jerkyness goes away and it runs smoothly. Seeing the rotor has some free up and down play on it I can only think this might be related to the brushes?

    Any ideas or suggestions?

    Re: Capacitor

Got to love the internet, second time a google search brought me to this site and both times it has been very helpful.

I'm restoring the exact same food processor, this morning I turned it on and everything worked for a minute until the cap popped and let out lots of smoke. The cap was already cracked and bulging before I turned it on.

I managed to find a 0.22uF cap from a old TV circuit board and will try it out shortly.

The replacement cap I found has the following markings:
    M - .22uF275V - ECQUL - 40/100/21 - GMF - MKT...

I don't actually have the monitor, it's about 1600km from me. I'm enquiring on behalf of someone else but will keep you posted.

First got to find a local source for that IC though.

    Thanks again!

In my case the IC has big hole in it where it popped so you cannot see anything.

Thanks for that, much appreciated. Is there any manufacturers symbol on the IC at all? I see there are some other letters/numbers below the W27D723 which I can't make out.

Hope you don't mind me using your picture, it was the best one I could find....

    Hi,

Much appreciated! I have also left a message for him on photobucket but dunno if he has seen it. I nicked his pic, hope he does not mind as I'm desperate.

I appreciate you looking as I have been hunting high & low via google but have not had much luck yet. I emailed Liteon but obviously they just ignored me

    Much appreciated
