    Veiwsonic VA912B issue.

    Hi im new to this forum.


    Ok first if i plug in the moniters A/C cable it works fine but when the VGA cord is plugged in the screen goes black and the power light flashes and is GREEN. I had to get the old crt out just to write this so any help would be appreciated.

    Open the lcd up and post pictures of your boards following the instructions in my sig file below.

    You will also need a multimeter for troubleshooting.

      Ive decided to just scrap it. i thought it would be something simpler to fix but i don't have the necessary tools

        Well if you have decided you don't want to fix it, it might be a good idea to at least put it on craigslist or kijiji. There's always other people who would like to fix it and use it. You may even fetch $10 or more for it, depending on the area you live in .
