by soler88I am trying to fix this tv that has image and sound but no backlight. Replaced all led strips and each strip turns on using a led tester but do not get any backlight when the tv turns on.
I disconnected the main board from the PS but still no backlight.
Looking at previous threads, nothing is jumping out at me and I'm stumped.
Here are the voltage measurements:
ON STATE
CNM803 on PSU from Main
Pin 1 A13v - 13.09v
Pin 2 OD_UD - 3.3v
Pin 3 A13v - 13.09v
Pin 4 BLU_PWM - 1.6v

by FritterHi all,
Just putting my first current limiter together (uk). Apart from led's, are there any bulbs that will not function as needed? Any advice much appreciated. -
by EazyBonePicked up another free one. The original owner replaced power board to try and fix them gave up gave to me
Problem: Red led standby light blinks once every 5 seconds repeatedly for ever.power button does nothing. Nothing turns on.
PSU, 12v are all 12v to main, 18v are all 16.6 stby is 2.6
Disconnect main and 12v is 10.5 and 18v become 14.4.
This is the same for BOTH psus.
Backlight tester turns on backlights at 105v each strand and work properly.
I cannot get ANY voltage to backlights on either power supply. They remain... -
by angelosHi Guys,
It's been a while that i have been active on the forum, sorry for that. My primary job has been keeping me quite busy.
The above set starts up with sound working just fine but the CCFL lamps (Inverter) runs for one second and switches off.
My 24V supply is steady and the ON/OFF pin to the inverter is at +5V.
The only thing i see is the PWM signal pin is at +5V without any square wave being emitted. Is this normal? as far as i can remember there needs to be a square wave pulse there. Am i right?
I will now measure with my oscilloscope probe on... -
by eccerr0rI was playing with one of those "filament" LED lamps. I noticed it seemed to flicker a bit...so I tried powering it with different things to try to extract information about it - noticed it seems to be 100% LED - no droppers, no PSU, no rectifiers, nothing - the LED "filaments" are hooked straight to the contacts!
Wondering what's the distribution of how "filament" LED lamps are driven? Do any have capacitive droppers? rectifiers? CC PSUs?

Found another "filament" LED that does have a PSU in it, seems to be a capacitive... - Loading...
