I guess, it it AIC1117ACY (SOT-223) voltage adjustable version, used to supply 1.8V.
and seem to working fine from voltage measured in your other thread.
datasheet =>2) Markings: BS17P, Z74C4 (could not find datasheet on this one):
Pin1: Measured 0.606V DC

On my working monitor I was measuring 2.5 volts on the center pin on the bs17p regulator.
I know I checked more than once. The only thing that was not hooked up was the LDVS cable to the LCD panel. I have another working logic board is there anything else I could check to help narrow down the problem.Whatever I do, I consider it a success, if in the end I am breathing, seeing, feeling and hearing!

This data sheet shows a fixed version, and one is 2.5 volts

Yes, there're fixed versions and adjustable version to be used in different design.

fixed ones usually have the output voltage in the model number... like "1117A-33CT" ... the -33 indicates 3.3V output voltage..
same thing for -18 (1.8V) and -25 (2.5V)
edit: in turn, some adjustable ones have a model number ending with -ADJ. Not all of them though..Last edited by Scenic; 02-11-2011, 08:23 AM.

in my opinion,
for fixed output voltage version, pin1 is always 0V (ground), pin2 output the fixed voltage, pin3 input.
for adjustable version, pin1 is not 0V (0.6xxV as your measured) because it's pin function to adjust output voltage.

Hello guys,
I would like a quite old but still good 800 W ATX PSU to be repaired. The problem was an extremely heavy coil whine coming from the small secondary transfomer on the PCB.
I desoldered it hoping the references on the upper side would allow me to find a adequate replacement part. Sadly the written references drove me nowhere but to the manufacturer (I-MAG). I sent them a message like a bottle in the see asking them to send me a datasheet of the transformer. And... They responded ! I received a kind of datasheet (see attachment) but my competencies do not allow... -
Hi everyone,
I’m trying to identify a step-down regulator marked AMCH073. It’s used on the PEX power rail of a graphics card. I can’t find any datasheet or info online.
Here’s what I’ve observed:
• It has a QFN-16 footprint, similar to NB670.
• Pins 1, 2, 15, 16 are connected together and go to the inductor, so likely SW (switch node).
• Pin 9 is connected to GND, which doesn’t match NB670 (where pin 9 is SW).
• Pin 8 also seems to be tied to the same GND plane.
• The chip only says AMCH073, no manufacturer logo or other markings.... -

Hi There!
I'm trying to help my friend who owns a restaurant be just bought.
He has a very long LED strip running along all the walls and columns. The strip is attached facing down 2in above the floor, using a wall panel that ends in a metal rail that finishes the panel underneath
It's stuck using, I guess, the 2 sided tape that comes with the strip
The issue is that like 1/2 of the full length, including 1/2 one wall, another entire wall, and one column, flickers after 4 or 5 minutes ON. Particularly it flashes staying OFF most of the time and flashing ON for 1 tenth... -
So My iPad was not charging and booting up . i went to a local technician and he checked with thermal and this Part marked in 1st Photo is Short.
So then i went on to boardview and downloaded the schematics and identified this part in 2nd Photo. Now i am confused what exactly is the part called ? where should i get this from ?
i contacted my technician and he sent me his BoardVIew screenshot in 3rd Photo. In his Boardview the part is called X2826.... Something
SO My main concern is what part should i order what should i search the name for ?
on Ipad...
