Parasound Zamp v1 - Guess who's coming to dinner

Just picked up this original Zamp. Only hooked it up in place of my Schiit Magni 3 momentarily to see if it functioned. Owner warned me the auto-on-off does not function and the unit must be unplugged to shut off. Has massive hum in both channels. The owner swears it must be a ground loop issue, which I've read they are sensitive to, but after opening the chassis up, I was met by a very uninvited ensemble of guests.

Needless to say I started writing down values and taking measurements and then fired up Digi-Key.
    Attached Files
Presonus Audiobox USB, Schiit Magni 3, Sony MDR-V700

Finding the wrong part at a loooong led strip, part works fine, part flickers, all parallel...
      by edugimeno
      Hi There!
I'm trying to help my friend who owns a restaurant be just bought.
He has a very long LED strip running along all the walls and columns. The strip is attached facing down 2in above the floor, using a wall panel that ends in a metal rail that finishes the panel underneath
It's stuck using, I guess, the 2 sided tape that comes with the strip
The issue is that like 1/2 of the full length, including 1/2 one wall, another entire wall, and one column, flickers after 4 or 5 minutes ON. Particularly it flashes staying OFF most of the time and flashing ON for 1 tenth...

Asus XD4 fails at the booting process.
      by McKey
It is the router module (XD4R). It stucks basically immediately and has a solid white light. I hooked it up to UART, it fails at the beginning of the boot sequence, where it is checking its hardware (see below).
Can someone guess from this what could fail on this little bad boy?
It has three bigger coils, all have the correct voltages -compared to the node module (XD4N). The cpu has almost the same resistance as on the node, i guess the differences are coming from the plus chip that is connected to the same coil on the router module. Im suspecting the RAM, i already tried to reflow...

Pure Discovr Bluetooth speaker not charging possible bms problem.
      by thesame
Hi guys i'm posting here because I think that there's a battery or BMS issue even do the problem is with a pure discovr smart speaker found with one battery at 1.6v and the other at 3.2 v not drawing any current from the type c port. The speaker was new and unused , my guess is that the BMS is somehow in protection mode or something, I have tried to disconnect the wires from it charge the batteries from the lab PSU and reconnect them and still not charging after that. What should I Try? I also bought another bms that you can see in the pictures but i have this white wire coming from the usb type...

Acer Nitro 5 AN517-52-56A5 - won't charge, shorts the AC adapter
      by gleniu
      Hello,

I have a problem with Acer Nitro 5 AN517-52-56A5 (motherboard: GH51M LA-K862P Rev: 1A). I was playing TLoU2, which is a rather demanding game, for a few hours, unless the notebook turned off (my guess is that the battery drained to 0%). Now, when I connect the AC adapter, the LEDs are not coming on and the laptop doesn't charge.

It also shorts the AC adapter - I've checked two of them from different manufacturers. Though the AC adapter gives 19,5V as expected, the voltage drops to 0V when I connect it and disconnect from laptop - it comes back to 19,5V when I reset...
