    RCA RT2770 not working

    Hi! I'm new here, but am going to jump in feet first.

    I just picked up one of the above mentioned units and it isn't working. It has obviously been repaired (C220 & C212 are each two 2200uF 35V electrolytic caps in series).

    My issue is, there seems to be no voltage on the output side of transformer T102. Can anybody please tell the voltage I should be reading on each pin of this transformer?

    Any help would be greatly appreciated!

      If it's anything like the receivers i've looked into, there should (also) be a smaller transformer on a "power pcb", that's handling the power during stand-by.

      When you press the "soft power" button, the microprocessor sends a signal to a relay on that power board, that switches the mains voltage to the primary of the big transformer, so...

      First step, get your hands on a service manual No sense in "flying blind" if that can be avoided

                  Apologies if this is the wrong forum, but I'm not looking for a specific BIOS file, I'm trying to understand how one makes a clean BIOS file. So here's the background. I have 2 HP EliteDesk 800 g2 mini 35w pcs. One is working fine; the other doesn't have display out or working USB's nor does it have any flashing error lights. The CPU does get worm enough to cause the fan to spin up, so I think it's posting, but I just don't know. I had it working at one point but trouble started when I tried to put in a drive caddy that had a cooling fan on it. I thought it would be compatible but wasn't...

                  Help choosing replacement transformer for Levoit 600S SMPS

                  Hello Community,

                  I'm attempting to repair the SMPS on a Levoit 600S air purifier. The transformer is likely open. It has six pins. 2 pairs on the primary side (one pair tested open) and 1pair of legs on the secondary side. Legs on the secondary side are spread wide apart (end-to-end). I've circled them in blue. Dimentons of the transformer are 22x23mm. Marking on the transformer are EE16 1.9mH-B. Fuse for the powerboard is fuse 250V 3.15A. I've been unable to find an exact match and I'm hoping for some help here to find a suitable replacment.

                  i have many 5050sff. all of them, and how i experienced over many years for all about 250 DELLs goin through my hands, are fully flashable and can be serviced in any way when the service_mode jumper is set.
                  Never ever i experienced problems with that.

                  Now i have one 5050sff machine, where this jumper isnt working at all.
                  I do not get the normal messge that the jumper is set when booting and a short test with FPT just confirms this. Everything is locked -->> EVEN for reading !?

                  The history of the machine is that i used it in my office...

                  I have the above mentioned bord after repair, which was related to a lot of missing smd devices on the back of the board.
                  There were almost 20 devices missing, caps, resistors and some diodes/mosfets.
                  The board is generally working now, all PCIe ports are working, Windows installs normally.

                  However I have a problem with SATA ports 4-7 (the board has 8 SATA ports) - disks are not beeing recognized by the BIOS neither by Windows (which is usually normal in case BIOS does not recognize them).

                  Hi i have one Macbook Air 2020 where touch ID is not working (it's not scanning fingerprints). Touch ID was working before, there is no error message during scanning fingerprint it's just not scanning on screen you can see only fingerprint but there are no red updates as when it's working. Power button is working fine.
