Nothing that cheap. But got a nice pair of refurb Sennheiser wireless headphones for my mom, who has trouble hearing her TV. $139.00 in the stores. Ebay was $60.00 buy it now, offered $50.00 got 'em.
My wife uses a pair late at night, and we've always been impressed with the sound. So to me, good deal.

How do you connect earphones to a TV where there's no headphone jack?

I have a sharp television. I hooked up the headphones to the audio out ports, I wonder if I have to disable the sound from the menu to get them to work...

If that's the case, I think I can attach external speakers with a headphone port so that there would be both general and headphone audio at the same time. If the headphones were amplified, the volume could be kept relatively low while the headphones could be turned higher.

If this doesn't work, I was thinking about opening up the TV and "tapping in" to the speaker connectors and routing a headphone port through the plastic. It's not pretty, but will this work as a last resort?

DVR recorder Switching power supply Failure
            by sam_sam_sam
When I originally started with my DVR recorder it had 4 individual switching switching power supply’s that were sh*t so I bought a 7 amp 12 volt switching power supply and modified the output plug and put a four output power supply cable to match the input power supply cable inputs

Which worked for over 14 years until a few days ago when the cameras went dark no picture anymore well it turns out now the switching power supply has stopped working altogether now so I have to troubleshoot what has happened to this power supply more later on today what I found

Help identifying SOT-23-5 regulator marked BFCV on Lucky Miner LV06
            by Geosphere
            Hello,

I’m trying to repair a Lucky Miner LV06 Bitcoin miner that was given to me.
It looks like someone plugged 12 V into the 5 V rail and fried the three small adjustable regulators.

Each regulator is a SOT-23-5 package, all marked “BFCV.” I can’t find any datasheet or reference to that code. The regulators appear to generate 3.3 V (for ESP32), 1.8 V, and ~0.8 V (for the BM1366 ASICs), set by resistor dividers?.

            From tracing the PCB:

            Pin 1 (red) → 5 V in

            Pin 2 > GND

            Pin 3 (yellow) > output ...

Voice recorder for blind persons Milestone 311 - Whistle in the speaker
            by corrize
Hello, I have 2 voice recorder to repair. Same issue : whistle in the speaker, but the sound is good with the headphones (via jack audio plug).
Built in year 2000, I guess that could be the (yellows) capacitors ? What do you thing about that please ?

            (I found the specs : tantalum-polymer capacitors 100uF 10v 10%.)

Panasonic DMR-EZ48V DVD/VHS combo - DVD recorder part not working
            by Ady2017
I have recently inherited a Panasonic DMR-EZ48V DVD/VHS combo after my dad died. I tried to record a DVD with it and it worked for about 5 mins before it suddenly stopped. Since then it just keeps making a noise like it is trying to read a disk but then gives a 'no read' error message. I have tried numerous DVD's and it is definitely the recorder that is the problem. I did find a youtube video showing that capacitors on the power board were a common problem on these and so I went ahead and replaced the capacitors but it is still doing the same thing. I now think that it could be the laser that...

These cheap non brand capacitors at it again

Last night we had a power outage [ long drawn out trying three to come back up before going out completely ] and when I went to turn the DVR camera recorder back today no go 3 bad capacitors ( one capacitor no ESR reading on DVR board the other 3 capacitor on the power supply board over 40 ohm this is not a misprint ) on the external switching power supply and one capacitor on the DVR camera recorder board where the power supply that goes to the hard drive disk is

Well at least I have the cameras back on line I to try the...
