    firmware for Marantz SR5008 stuck in update loop

    After an update it stopped playing audio and video, I have reset it as it says in the manual and tried to reinstall the firmware over the internet but logging failed each time and I tried to download the firmware to install it by usb but it does not appear on the official page, could you help me? Since it would be a shame to have to get rid of him, European version Thank you very much

      Do a factory reset. Power up holding [Preset +] and [Preset -]
      See what that does.

          My current theory is that I need to update the firmware via USB, unfortunately Marantz no longer provides these files.

          I would appreciate any assistance!

          Below is steps I've tried and more context:
          * Soft Reset
          * Microprocessor reset
          * Network Reset
          * Unplug receiver and let sit overnight
          * Plug receiver into Ethernet directly to network and let sit.
          * Tried to source Firmware online
          * Tried Marantz's Firmware site on wayback archive.org
          * Called Marantz support. doesn't have the firmware to give to consumer.

          Also, some more context:
          The device when plugged into power, turns on automatically. No view is output over HDMI. The screen on the device will display the input and volume, and this can be changed using the dials.

              AFAIK, firmware update via USB doesn't start until the 2017 models.

                      Does anyone happen to have the latest firmware for the NR1508? Marantz took their update server down and customer support refuses to provide the image to flash over USB.

                      Does anyone happen to have the latest firmware for the SR5007? Marantz took their update server down and customer support refuses to provide the image to flash over USB. They offered to let me pay a service center to do the update (has to be over USB).

                      I have a Ps4 Slim, it works perfectly, I wanted to update to firmware v 10.1 and now it remains stuck at 53%, before it had version 6.50
                      Hdd is ok, it is tested with hdtune pro
                      The Blu-ray worked perfectly before the update
                      I tried several USB flash drives, no change
                      The wifi module was changed does the same
                      Can someone help me ? can the southbridge have problems?

                      Hello to everyone ,

                      This is my first post here, and i would like to share with you a small story in case you can help me.

                      Docker Type-C Gen 2 - Model 40AS. Was given to me by a friend for free ,but with the problem that you cannot use the video output ports.

                      All ports work , USB , Ethernet, Type C ... but HDMI + Display Port don't work

                      I searched on reddit and google for problem similar to that, and a LOT of people had fixed this problem by updating the firmware. So i tried , i searched and found 1.1.13 utility and 1.1.20 utility that can help...

                      Hi all,

                      I picked up a Marantz NR1501 that the seller said did not produce any audio, but was starting up just like normal. This was indeed the case and the hunt for damaged components started.
                      After confirming all voltages and replacing all caps on this godforsaken HDMI-board I finally got sound from the AUX input, but all digital inputs are still dead.

                      The service menu shows no DSP version so I desoldered IC1604 that should have the serial flash DSP firmware on it and made two dumps that turned out identical.
                      The content of these seems to be useless as far...
