Hi,
My LG Soundbar, SK10Y, has somehow ended up in an endless "PLEASE WAIT" loop and I am now starting to suspect that the firmware is causing this, and I can't manage to connect via the app to push a new firmware in as it never really starts.
I can trick it to start via HDMI ARC and it actually starts up, flashes OPTICAL and then goes to ARC where the sound (including sub) is perfect, but the white led indicator keeps blinking and after 20 seconds it says "GOOD BYE" and shuts down.
During these seconds the function button is not working at all and I have tried to press the wifi button to reset it which makes it say RESET and then the white light turns to red and it turns off anyway.
I have opened it up and tried to start without the touch/wifi/bluetooth boards in different combinations to see if any of those were causing the issue but no luck at all.
No obvious signs of damaged components inside and it does play well during the 20 seconds before it shuts down so I would like to flash a new firmware on there to see if that helps.
If anyone has a firmware dump that would be fantastic, and any other ideas on what I could try next is much appreciated.
Regards,
Daniel
