    Focusrite 2i2 4i4 3rd gen

    Hi Guys

I am fighting a dilemma here.
I am trying to find out the part number of the main processor used in Focusrite 2i2 and 4i4 third generation.
    They seem to be XMOS.
I can not order them from anywhere using what is written on them.
If anybody would be able to help identify these I would be very grateful.

those are bullshit numbers on the chip.

The funny thing is that I found a Chinese guy on eBay who was able to provide me with two pieces of these chips using the first line from the code: 002049
When I asked him if he can provide the datasheet for them and/or the manufacturer part number for them he said he can not. Weird isn't it?

the chinese have access to the factories and dont waste anything.

unsold stock gets dissassembled and sold as parts,
surplus or scrap/damaged also gets sold as parts.
on the books they are probably just listed as "disposed of"

the best trick they have involves parts on reels or strips intended for robotic manufacture.
you get say 5000 parts on a roll.
the machine gets down to the last few hundred and trips an alarm,
instead of waiting for an empty bin, you stop the machine and reload it.
then sell the strip of a few hundred parts to a market and bill the customer for those parts anyway as "unuseable"

              Hello!
New here. I just bought a broken Focusrite to begin my journey in repairing stuff.
I would like the schematic for the Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 3rd Gen audio interface.
Thanks in advance if anyone answers!

Focusrite Scarlett Solo 3rd Gen component identification
              by speggio91
              Hi everyone,

I'm trying to repair a Focusrite Scarlett Solo 3rd Gen audio interface that was accidentally exposed to 12V on the USB-C VBUS line instead of the normal 5V. A component marked as U1 on the PCB has completely blown up together with the capacitors C17, C15.

From the teardown video linked below, it's indicated that U1 is a voltage regulator (switcher) with 6 pins. Unfortunately, the original part on my board is so damaged that I can't make out any markings or identify it.

              Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 gen1 repair

              Hi all,

I have acquired a 2i2 USB sound card which came with a broken USB port. The pins were not mangled, the plastic stud was missing. I replaced it but Windows now sees something and shows a "Device Descriptor Request Failed" - which I believe it means "I see something but it's not telling me who they are"

I found the 2i4 schematics online, I feel the digital end is identical.

The USB goes through an USB 3343 IC which acts as interface with the host. Then it connects via ULPI protocol to the XMOS CPU, an ARM one which is connected to...

Philips 55pus6754/12 FZ3A Set Option value dilemma
              by alltvrepairs
              Hi,

I need to change the main board for this set. I have a new identical board but for a smaller model 43PUS6704/12 FZ3A

The picture is not good and remote seems not to work either.

The Set Option on the rear of the TV says 042 as shown in pic.
The Service manual lists this model but with another screen with a mentioned Option Code of 109. I assume that I need to use the one on the back of the TV.

The problem I don't know how to tackle yet is the remote issue as not responding. Remote works on another Philips TV.
