Re: Need Help Identifying This DIODE mounted on a Frigidaire oven control PN:31613160
Just to get the sizes right: dia. X height, LS means lead spacing. These are always in Metric though.
Originals look like CapXon KM series rated 2,000hrs life. So I took those dimensions as a start:
C3, C10 - 100uF 16V 6.3x11mm LS=2.5mm
C4 - 470uF 25V 8x11.5 or 10x12.5, LS=3.5mm
C5 - 1,000uF 25V 10x20mm LS=5mm; but looks bigger, is this a 12.5mm part (1/2")???
C13, C14 - 0.47uF 50V electrolytic 5x11mm LS=2.5mm?
D11 - 1N5231B 5.1V 0.5W zener
U4 - L78L08ACZ voltage regulator 8V 0.1A
Relays - Siemens T7CV5D-12-02, 10A 250VAC, 12VDC coil.
If this is right, we can give some possible part numbers for the caps.Comment

Originals look like CapXon KM series rated 2,000hrs life. So I took those dimensions as a start:
C3, C10 - 100uF 16V 6.3x11mm LS=2.5mm (YES, Correct)
C4 - 470uF 25V 8x11.5 or 10x12.5, LS=3.5mm (I get 9mm X 16mm tall)
C5 - 1,000uF 25V 10x20mm LS=5mm; but looks bigger, is this a 12.5mm part (1/2")??? (I get 13mm X 21mm tall)
C13, C14 - 0.47uF 50V electrolytic 5x11mm LS=2.5mm? (YES - CORRECT)
The black skinned caps are marked "KM" and the orange skinned pair (C13 and C14) are marked "LL" - I'm not absolutely accurate on the sizes. I'm using a measuring tape, then converting decimal to metric. So, I'm close, but could be off slightly.

Re: Need Help Identifying This DIODE mounted on a Frigidaire oven control PN:31613160
Caps come in standard (Metric) size categories. Look for these long life parts:
C3, C10 - 100uF 16V 6.3x11mm LS=2.5mm bent to 3.5mm (OK to sub 25V parts)
Nichicon ULD1C101MED1TD
Chemi-con ELE-160ELL101MF11D or ELE-250ELL101MF11D (25V).
Rubycon 25YXM100MEFR6.3X11
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
C4 - 470uF 25V 10x12.5mm LS=5mm (long life parts are usually taller like 16 or 20mm)
Rubycon 25ZLH470MEFC10X12.5
Nichicon UHE1E471MPD6TD or UHE1E471MPD6.
Chemi-con EKY-250ELL471MJ16S
Panasonic EEU-FR1E471
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
C5 - 1,000uF 25V 12.5x23mm LS=5mm; more common size is 10x20mm
Chemi-con EKY-250ETD102MK20S 12.5x20
Nichicon UHW1E102MPD 10x20
Panasonic EEU-FR1E102 10x20
Rubycon 25ZLH1000MEFC10X23 10x23
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
C13, C14 - 0.47uF 50V electrolytic 5x11mm, instead use 0.47uF 50V polyester (these have no polarity) w/leads splayed out a bit, like Kemet
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------Comment

Re: Need Help Identifying This DIODE mounted on a Frigidaire oven control PN:31613160
Does the polyester cap still need to be Low Leakage like the original caps? I can't find one that has that spec (at all). Thanks for looking up the others.Comment

Re: Need Help Identifying This DIODE mounted on a Frigidaire oven control PN:31613160
A film capacitor inherently has much less leakage current than any electrolytic capacitor, so I see no penalty to using them aside from the lead spacing being a bit bigger at 5mm.Comment

Re: Need Help Identifying This DIODE mounted on a Frigidaire oven control PN:31613160
some polyester are tall and square if you look hard enough - those can fit inplace without any lead bending
dont skip looking at 63v and 100v ones to find a good size/shapeComment

Frigidaire oven control board repair 316131600
The board has 5mm hole spacing, with the original 0.47uF having their leads bent out to that. So 5mm I think is fine. I did see some 2.5mm polyester caps but no stock anywhere. Wild guess they are for filtering the temperature sensors.Comment

Would these be a better choice than a poly film cap?Comment

50v is uncommon for film caps - you should have used 63v in your search.
a better fit for less than a third of the priceComment

Yes, best at Mouser is Kemet R82 series: 0.47uF 63V polyester $0.37 LS=5mm
https://www.mouser.com/ProductDetail...5Rakrliw%3D%3D
alternate Epcos/TDK B32529C0474 https://www.mouser.com/ProductDetail...vfa9fnmw%3D%3D but there are many offerings with 5%, 10% tolerance packaged in bulk, ammo pack, adding to the head spinning list.Last edited by redwire; 11-24-2022, 11:20 AM.Comment

by magnehHello all!
could someone help identifying this ST diode?
Marking EUV C730
Photo attached,
Thanks in advance!... -
by Donny2derbyHi there all.
Troubleshooting an SMPS and I’ve found a SMD diode shorted in both directions. The trouble is it has no identification on it. So what do I replace it with and how do I tell where the anode and cathode is and how to mount the replacement?
It is diode D1 on the image.
Regards.

by CbizzWhile reviewing the a1466 820-00165 board schematics, I came across a diode that I need to identify. The part in question is labeled D2920 (NSR1020MW2T1G), but my problem is that the schematic has the icon for a Zener Diode, but when I look up the part number, I only get results for a Schottky Diode. I don't have much experience with technical schematics at all and this part just so happens to be missing from the board I am trying to fix so I need to get my hands on the correct replacement part.
I have attached both the schematic portion in question and a screenshot of the part... -
by merravidHi,
Can someone help me identify the diode shown in the image.
Marking is E7 (first line) and Ed (second line). Case excluding terminals is 2.8 x 3.5 x 2.0mm (H)
I can't find it in any of the SMD marking databases.
Thanks.

by asrHello, I am looking for help to replace a damaged diode. The tristar was replaced and a diode was damaged in the process. I have a picture of the diode but dont have an exact donor. I mostly have macbooks for donors and only a few ipad and iphone boards. Diode part number: DSF01S30SCAP
Im not sure where to find the ipad board number. Anybody have an idea where else this diode is used on other boards? Thanks.... - Loading...
