Have a whirlpool duet control board - part #3978918. Also wp8546219. Does anybody recognize what this SMD transistor is ? Also the 2 diodes ?

You will have to clean up the diodes with some acetone and then play with your camera or phone by taking photos at different angles to be able to see what markings are on them. Budm can tell us more about the transistor or regulator of whatever it is. -

The transistor is an Onsemi PZT2222AT1, Petehall347 is correct about the poor solder connection, I would check all the larger connections for similar poor solder connections. It might be better to post the actual problem you are having.Last edited by R_J; 12-14-2020, 04:38 PM.Comment

I see bad solder joint in pic - unfortunately I have 2 boards - one works - other has burnt relay, trans, and maybe diodes. check in morning.Comment

looked at both boards - the one that heater relay is burnt - solder joints were good. The good board which I installed and ran 2 loads of clothes was bad but it worked liked that for 2 loads. Fixed solder joints - still works ! waiting on PZT2222AT1 and diodes to repair burnt board. want to thank all who replied - didn't see cold solder joint, I'm pretty sure it would have failed in the near future !Last edited by ajshoe; 12-16-2020, 06:34 PM.Comment

Patient is a Maytag/Whirlpool/Kenmore clothes dryer. Not sure of exact model, doesn't matter. All boards are out of production.
Specific problem is a Maytag 8544799 / WP8544799 motor-control board, aka Diehl Controls 708879-05. Customer states the board "doesn't work, motor doesn't run". Not sure how the repairman made that assessment, or if it's even accurate. He can't get replacement boards, and the owner decided to buy a new dryer, so whether this board is the problem is speculation on his part. Again, doesn't matter.

Hi There!
I'm trying to help my friend who owns a restaurant be just bought.
He has a very long LED strip running along all the walls and columns. The strip is attached facing down 2in above the floor, using a wall panel that ends in a metal rail that finishes the panel underneath
It's stuck using, I guess, the 2 sided tape that comes with the strip
The issue is that like 1/2 of the full length, including 1/2 one wall, another entire wall, and one column, flickers after 4 or 5 minutes ON. Particularly it flashes staying OFF most of the time and flashing ON for 1 tenth... -
So My iPad was not charging and booting up . i went to a local technician and he checked with thermal and this Part marked in 1st Photo is Short.
So then i went on to boardview and downloaded the schematics and identified this part in 2nd Photo. Now i am confused what exactly is the part called ? where should i get this from ?
i contacted my technician and he sent me his BoardVIew screenshot in 3rd Photo. In his Boardview the part is called X2826.... Something
SO My main concern is what part should i order what should i search the name for ?

Anyone able to help diagnose the fault with this board please.
Hopefully photos are clear enough to give me direction on what readings to take and where.
All ancillary components of the dryer have been tested and work i.e heating element, thermostats, sensors, motor, door switch, wiring harness.
So theres 230v at the control board but no life whatsoever with or without the ancillaries connected.
The on/off/timer dial contacts are clean and make good contact. All the through hole mounted components appear to be good i.e diodes, resistors,... -
