    Wine cooler temperature problem

    Hi guys,

I am not sure if this problem belong here but, I will try.

I have a wine cooler that seems to work fine but the temperature displayed on the panel doesn't match the temperature inside of the wine cooler, I meen, the temperature inside the wine cooler is 12 degrees but on the panel it shows 23 and fluctuate a few degrees up and down.

I have replaced all the capacitors on the board and it didn't help.

Any one is got an idea what could be wrong?

    Thanks a lot.

Sounds like a calibration problem. I do not know how your display is set up for reading the temperature inside the unit. I would think the display has a potentiometer that can be turned to match the temperature set to the temperature read.

What brand name do you have?

Do you have a website for them? I have been looking for 1 hour and unable to find them.

Pictures of the display panel? The temperature sensor should be going that display board.
              Location of the sensor?

I think that the sensor is just regulating the temperature in the unit. That is not the problem. The problem is the digital display is not read the correct temperature. I would say the display has an adjustment.

I was able to down load a translator. I had wanted to email them so I could find out who's Peltier device they are using as the devices I have seen do not stand up to the spec sheet that they say the do.

Do you have a user manual that came with the frig? As there may be calibration procedures in the manual.

Unfortunately I don't have. I bought it from some guy that said that it doesn't cool and I thought I can fix it.
Now it is cooling but doesn't show the correct temperature.

So what did you do to get the cooler to cool?
So it shows wrong temperature but can you set it to other other temperature? Just want to know if it is still adjustable or not even though the readout is wrong.

This is the first wine cooler that I have seen that actually works. I wonder what Peltiers it has in it and how many. I least now we can say WineBar makes a cooler that works.

It has only one peltier and a big heat sink on it. I disassembled it a few day ago just of curiosity.

Did you not notice the name or part number on the Peltier? You need to be very careful when you reassemble them. The direction of hot and cold is important. This can be found by holding Peltier in your fingers and then plug in the power supply. The minute you fell which is hot or cold then unplug the power. They will destroy themselves without a heat sink. How it lies on the heatsink is important. You want to make sure the wires have no stress on them when you tighten down the mounting screws. The reason for this is the Peltier can crack very easy. It is important to have thermal compound on Peltier on both sides. Not to much where it is squishing over the edges, but enough to cover all of it so it will conducted thermally. When the mounting screws are tightened you will want to make them finger snug on both screws. Then tighten them with a wrench slowly going from one screw to the other. You will wanted them to cause the Peltier to be secure but not cranked down.

Trying to a fancy Wine and Can Beverage Cooler which wasnt working.
                                          Model number AWBC242GGFD
Previous owner states that it needs a new motor.

When plugged up you hear a quick chime from the PCB alarm but it quickly dies away (trails off actually) and there is no sign of life from the unit at all.
I pulled out the main control board to give a look.

Fuses checked out okay. All diodes except one checked out. It was reading in both directions so I pulled it out of circuit and checked it again but this time it read good.

                                          Hi all
I have one of those machines. Clevo PC70DP.

Machine starts, but turns off quite quick. Just before turning off one can hear fans are spinning at high speed. Can be turned back on again right away.
                                          So, feels like overheat problem.
I cleaned up fans and heatsinks and replaced thermal paste. I can now see CPU runs cooler and machine stays on for longer, but still same.

                                          Few more findings:
                                          1. on-board NVIDIA card is not found. Not showing up in Windows or in BIOS.
                                          2. I tried to run CPU stress test. CPU stays at about 65 degrees. Works...

Wine cooler flickers at startup and doesn't cool enough

                                          Hi there!
I have an old wine bottle cooler, it's a basic peltier cell system with a power supply built in with the controller board, with a simple display at the front door and 2 push buttons to select the desired temperatura.
Symptoms are it doesn't barely cool down, and makes a chirping noise at the board.
Both fans on each side of the peltier are (now, after much cleaning) running smooth and silent
When you turn it on, the front 7-segment display flickers for a variable time, usually like 1 minute but sometimes nothing or 3 minutes... Then turn on solid (but still some...

EuropAce EWC 3108 Wine Chiller - Seems like no temperature sensor input
                                          by beetle1303
Received this dual doors dual temperature control wine chiller with some unusual issues:
                                          1) On powered up, all the electronics seemed to be working properly - lights, temperature settings, current temperature, etc, all displayed correctly. But sometimes both zones will get chilled, sometimes upper zone only, and sometimes lower zone only. The temperature displays will show the correct temperature as it chilled (I placed a stand-alone thermometer inside and they compared correctly)
                                          2) However, the chilling does not stop at the set temperature.
                                          3) When both zones are chilling,...

                                          i have a problem with thinkpad X1 carbon gen 2 "LMQ-1MB 12298-2 48.4LY26.021"
The laptop was turned off because the MOSFET was not transmitting voltage. After checking it turned out that the gate pin on the MOSFET was the problem, because it was producing an inappropriate voltage. and it was discovered that the problem was with the Think engine, so I decided to reprint each pin, and finally the mosfet could work properly. However, there is another problem, even though the voltage has been supplied to the laptop, it still won't turn on, there isn't even an LED indicator. After double...
