Maytag MAV6200AWW washer suddenly not responsive

Old machine, but was working fine. Was partially filled when water supply had to be turned off. When water went back on, it resumed filling. Someone accidentally knocked the lid and it slammed down. Machine stopped. Now nothing works. Opened up the control console on top, and could see the cycle start switch that's pushed in by a pin on the lid when the lid is closed seems to be moving in and out OK. Pressing the different water level buttons, can hear a click. The big knob for setting cycle and push-pulling for on or off does nothing.

Any ideas of how to check further? Is it likely a goner, easier to replace than repair? Thanks!

Could the lid switch have broken when the lid slammed down.
