Stagg sms12p audio amp has water damage

Hi! My friend just brought this audio amplifier/speaker fro his music band saying they realized its got no sound. Led powers up but there no sound at all
I opened it and found 3 board. 2 of them are for input plugs and potentiometers, and the other larger board has the amplifiers for 2 large speakers that it drives
There's also a large toroid transformer that feeds a lower voltage to the first 2 boards and a larger voltaje (36x2 rectified close to 100v) to the power board. The power board has the plugs for both speakers
There is only one signal wire connecting the first boards with the power board so I guess all sound has to enter at this plug. I applied signal to this plug and there absolutely nothing at the speakers.
I realized this amp must have been stored at a wet environment as the board has lots of traces of water
I have taken some close up pics of the water traces
Would I expect some real damage to the boards or just by removing the salt residue would I have any result?
Is there any trick you can share to remove the water salt from the board?
Any other hint on how to start?

    Thanks in advance

You put signal into the input and got no output on the speakers. No DC on the speakers, the clip LED is OFF? Does it have bi amp (like one PA for the highs and another one for the woofer? Put a signal into the input, then poke around with the oscilloscope in DC mode and see where you loose it. Maybe it goes through an opamp and there is nothing coming out of it's output (That TL084CN is a candidate for example). Could be also that a voltage is missing somewhere or a broken trace(s). First off clean the crud off the boards with 99% rubbing alcohol and a toothbrush etc. The other boards have voltage regulators too, like the 7912 (-12V). Maybe upload the pics of the other boards.

      Hi, thanks! Some answers.
The clip led is off all the time. Yes its a dual amplifier, it looks like the 4 large transistors at one side (bottom side of board) feed tha large sobwoofer, and the other 2 transistors at the other side (still bottom side of board) feed the medium size speaker
I didn't spend any time at all for now with the other boards at there only one signal wire linking them to the main power board, so this is the only way the sound has to enter the power board, and applying a signal on this wire should get some sound if the power board was fine. Maybe if I fix the power board and still get not sound I will have to pay attention to the other boards...
Ok I am away from the plae where I have it but will try to clean with alcohol next weekend and also see whats going on around the OP AMP IC. An schematic would help a lot to trace the signal throughout this board...

      Thanks!

I was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.

Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.

I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.

The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.

With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

Hi, this is my personal laptop, which the original board (lets call it Board A) blew up PU8700 (TPS51486), making a hole on the board, i had left the laptop at my desk one day with the battery fully charged and didn't touch it for a week, but when i tried to turn it on it didn't
Thought the battery was dead, so i plugged in the charger then tried to power on, the power LED blinked once, charged LED still orange, unplugged the charger, plugged in again and I noticed the "magic smoke" smell, so i unplugged the charger, removed the back cover and saw the blown IC (the "magic...

TCL 55S425 few horizontal lines, potential failure on both side of panel/buffer board
        by howardc64
All left and right refers to looking from rear of TV (or looking from front with TV upside down)
        • TV came with vertical bars and no image. Found faulty TVS on left buffer board. Also replaced T-Con (may have damaged the original while hot air removing components, board has slight warp) and have full image but few horizontal lines on the screen. Some of the lines appears to be 2 pixel tall while others are 1 pixel tall.
        • Disconnecting left and right buffer board potentially reveals problems on both sides with different signals (unless this T-Con require jumper like Samsung FB_TRDY1&3) Fault

Vaillant 242 Gas Water heater. Shortcut in board anc compatibility with model 282
        by edugimeno
        Hi!!
Yesterday I was installing a new Wifi thermostat for my domestic gas water heater model Vaillant 242/2-3, and accidentlly one wire from mains touched one wire from the thermostat output contacts. This shut off the heater so I finished installing the thermostat and then went out to check the heater

I found one fuse blown (T2 250V). Replaced it with another equivalent fuse and it blew right away. I measured L-N in mains input and I sometimes got 4K but sometimes, not sure why, I got 100 Ohm...
At a certain point, moving stuff around, I put all wires back in place and...

Tankless hot water heater controller board not powering up when power is applied
        by sam_sam_sam
I recently bought a used tankless hot water heater and the controller board is completely dead no power up when power is applied the display board works however the main controller board does not work correctly at all the fuse is good

I bought a used replacement controller board that also had issues that I was able to fix and now the tankless water heater works correctly now

However I would like to know if I could figure what happened to this controller board if possible

Tomorrow I will take some better pictures of both side of both boards
