    Please Indentify This resistor

I brought a made in china Li-Ion Charger
7S - 29.4 V to charge my Ebike battery. unfortunately i accidentally chage the + and - and powered on the charger
this got burned, i replaced it with a 0.1phm resistor. but now only voltage goes up. battery does not hold much charge.

i could not find this on aliepxress or local stores

    any ideas?

Your pictures are too blurry, focus on the board, not the chair
Where is the resistor located on the board? Some green mark you drew?

looks like a resistor behind the heatsink.

If the battery voltage goes up to nominal, stays that way when you disconnect, and still has limited capacity...well... bad battery?

If the resistor colors are:Black, Brown, Silver, Gold it would be 0.01Ξ© 5%

Voltage goes up. and stay without dropping, it was made out old laptop cells, I ave to reassemble battery today, but it alll start after changer incident.

is BLACK BLACK SILVER GOLD i think, now resistor shows .8ohm resistance

That color code would be 0Ξ© 5% Short your meter leads together and subtract that reading from the resistor value, part of the resistance reading could be lead resistance.

laptop batteries will overheat in a bike - you need high current cells.

agreed, especially cannot use "old" laptop cells, can't even use new laptop cells unless you double or triple the number of cells (and then be volume limited)...

The resistor looks very similar to F3 on the ADP-240AR power supply which is a 0.16Ξ© 2 watt

I can't understand why a 1 amp fuse was needed, I thought otherwise.

ASUS X54H laptop thinks it's always charging even with charger unplugged
                          by flat-earther
The charging indicator light on my ASUS X54H laptop is always on even when the charger is disconnected.

Windows also shows ''Plugged in'' when charger is not connected.

This problem started year ago gradually, when unplugging the charger the charging light took several seconds to disappear, then minutes, and now almost always on even when unplugged for an entire day.
Strangely, before sometimes immediately when plugging in the charger the charging light went away, and later came back with it connected.
If I let battery run out and say it has 3% Windows will...

                          Laptop Question
                          Hello,
I'm working on a Lenovo T460 that has been having trouble charging as of late. Its worked well since I've owned it for a few years. When I went to use it the other day it was dead and wouldn't turn on (was sitting on an Anker 65W GaN charger). After some fiddling with the charger I got it to turn on and start charging, but seemed like the charger was not working as it should (took a few plug and unplug cycles to get it to start charging).

A day later it was dead again and wouldn't boot/charge no matter what I did. No lights or anything when...

Well I was rushing to finish homework and just plugged my 54.6v 3 amp DC ebike charger into it. So thats just miserable. I just spent 2 days troubleshooting a parasitic drain on my A6 that killed my alternator. This literally happened right after I got that all diagnosed and fixed.

So visually it looks to be localized to the TI BQ24781 charge controller. Pins 2, and 27 look burnt aswell as the top of it got so hot as to melt the plastic it was touching even after I realized what was going on and disconnected...

Replacing resistor fuse in Sony DV charger
                          by corrize
Hello, I have 2 old chargers for Sony DV, and I found the same resistor fuse dead. Fuse is a crossing component : 0,47 Ohms (0,125W deduced because the lenght is 3mm). But I can’t find the same for buy.
So, I want to replace by another like 0 Ohms, 1 Ohms 0,125W,

It is the same please ? I guess it’s the same, the only change should be the time to burn ? Thanks...

                          Hi

I am trying to repair an ancient Dell 2209WA Monitor which suddenly shut off with a pop sound. On investigation found that one of the fusible resistors had blown. Further investigation identified multiple components as faulty because of which the fusible resistor blew. Please refer the attached circuit diagram showing the components that were found to be damaged.

                          1. FR950 - blown fusible resistor - 0.2 Ohm 1W
                          2. Q950 - shorted Q950 MOSFET - 650V 10A N Channel Mosfet
                          3. R835 - Blown Resistor - 20KOhm SMD resistor
                          4. D930 - Shorted Schottkey Diode...
