Re: 12v 1uo941243c Relay repairable?
something very strange: today i pulled off all the relays in the car even the two in the engine side and turned the key to ignition everything lit up on the panel and even the central lock worked open and close is it normal?

Re: 12v 1uo941243c Relay repairable?
i dont think it can be the ecm blowing fuses as it looks like its providing grounds to the fuel pump etc .
a blown fuse can stop comms at the obd connector .and can be something silly like lights fuse etc .
car electrics do strange things like one i worked on and wouldn't start with a blown horn fuse .Leave a comment:

its likely another blown fuse . is the 12v present at the obd2 connector ?Leave a comment:

Hi there came a friend who is a car mechanic but we did not manage to connect he computer to car controls he shall return when it is possible for him. meanwhile so I found this video do you think it can be similar problem that I have? if it is think you can fix the diagram although i think his ECM is similar to my own and i might be able to follow his

you need to find and fix the short before blowing more fuses .Leave a comment:

Re: 12v 1uo941243c Relay repairable?
just measure the voltage on the large terminals where k20 relay plugs in . one should be 12v . the other is going to be shorted to chassis if the fuses have been replaced that blew first .Leave a comment:

ok if you cant find the fuse pull k20 and see if its getting power on one of the large terminals in the socket .Leave a comment:

by caspianDear members,
I have a linear variable power supply with unknown brand name that I used for voltage injection.
Then it failed. I discovered that its transistors (Q1 and Q2) are shorted.
In addition, I discovered that its zener diodes are defective.
I can replace the burned transistors.
But I do not know the model of the zener diodes. the model number is not marked on the zener diodes.
Therefore, I cannot replace the zener diodes.
I do not want to test the zener diodes in a test circuit to discover their model or value.

by valvashonYesterday I successfully repaired a Middle Atlantic UPS2200R-IP that had inadvertently been used as a surge suppressor at our transmitter site. It has already been replaced with an updated one but it's coming home with me now instead of being e-cycled. To be specific, this is the MA model that has the blue backlit display and has been discontinued, although this design may have been used in many UPS units including the smaller Middle Atlantic ones in this series.
Here's what happened: We experienced a brownout/surge at the site, which damaged the UPS and took our broadcasting... -
by sam_sam_samI was working on this CNC machine today found no keyboard functioning no control relay powering on
The screen powered on and was giving an operation error but the manual was not very clear about what the error exactly was but with a little bit of troubleshooting and finding out that the control relays not powering on and no keyboard functions we narrowed down to this one switching power supply which of course does not have any indicator LED light they are on the keyboard interface/relay controller board
Found shorted diodes on main controller relays there are 3 of them that... -
by CrystaleyesFirst off,
Happy New Year everyone!
Someone recently asked me to look at their Philips 42pfl4508g/78 TV which had stopped working.
A quick visual check of the PSU revealed a ceramic cap with a hole burnt through it, and that the output voltages were wonky. The 5.2v Standby was only 3.2v. The 24v - 19.1v and the 12v - 11.2v. We found a cheap 'guaranteed working' replacement PSU online, which they bought and installed but it still the TV didn't switch on, and when I went back to test the new PSU board, it showed the same kind of low output voltages.... -
Hi folks. As the title says, I was doing a port replacement on a Lenovo Thinkpad T480s and in the process of post-solder cleaning, I somehow knocked off 2 or 3 diodes (i think they are diodes) near the main usb-c. I can't seem to find what kind of a diode is that. I know it's ultra tiny and just has a letter "G" on it. Would someone maybe have a proper schematic for the t480s model? I can only find the non-s one and it's quite different to the "s". Would love to figure out what component that is.
Thanks in advance!... - Loading...
