    could anybody identify this chip?

    hi
I'm trying to identify the chip in the middle of this photo (link below). the one that is marked: 48=4L M03

It's located right next the the dcin on a dell p75F motherboard. The laptop wouldn't post but it was getting power. The fan would switch on for a few seconds and then the whole unit would die. I was also getting various power rails online around the board when i checked at the coils and various caps.

However, when I was checking voltages on components around the DC input area i decided to check the pins on this chip. and suddenly the laptop came on. it now seems to be booting into windows every time without any problems at all. I'm wondering if i maybe accidentally hit a reset pin or something.

I've looked on google for a datasheet using the markings but can't find anything. Can't find the schematic for the board either.

    Thanks
