High pressure sodium yard light that when on-off syndrome

Yeah high pressure sodium yard light has been having a on/off syndrome that has gotten worse and spending more and more time off than on

These light fixtures have this item in them

    K1200E70 LITTELFUSE Thyristor Surge Protection Devices 90V 20A 2-Pin

    https://www.ebay.com/itm/10PCS-K1200...O/322603282024

This part has become obsolete and very hard to find but I was able to find an eBay seller that had some which I bought some and now my yard light is back working again with out the on/off syndrome

I have repaired them before for this problem but I was able to find some of them here until DigiKey runs out of them

It seems to be a current littlefuse product, and Digikey stocks 1,489 of them, Mouser has 2,703. Order 100 of them. It is a SIDAC, likely used to trigger a triac/scr

I have seen some web site that are showing them being obsolete so I am not sure if it will be come obsolete so I going to have on hand probably about 30 should last me a long time

I see that DigiKey shows the part active so I guess I am alright for the time being

Yes if you have one of these high pressure sodium yard light and it has a white plastic case that has three wires and circuit board you have changed the bulb and you still have the on/off syndrome then replace this part and that should stop it from having this problem

I hope this helps some one
