According to the internet the wires are made of aluminum rather than copper. That coupled with the fact that its zip-tied TIGHTLY to the wire strain relief is a recipe for mechanical failure at some point. I cant imagine this unit was used very often. Probably no more than a dozen uses. I was going to replace the wires but figured its too much work for something like this. At least if it happens again I'll know what to do and how to do it. Thank you everyone for your input and suggestions.

Im looking for my next project now!

      Ninja attack wiring! SLASH
The lead dress in these is usually a mess, so putting them together can pinch wires. Need tie wraps etc but that costs money.

Ninja DCT401 Double oven/air fryer Possible microprocessor issue?
          by tbsmith
I'm having a random issue with this otherwise nice double oven/air fryer. It sometimes does not respond to the controls. Sometimes only the upper control buttons work, sometimes they all work and sometimes none of them work. The power supply is good as the control board has a steady 5V and 3.3V. The pushbutton switches are all good as tested with multimeter. When the buttons are working, there is about 2.5V to the high side of the pushbutton. I'm assuming pressing a button grounds the input pin to the microprocessor. When the buttons are not working, there is about 0.3 volts on the high side....

Steam Generator - To Be or Not To Be - And 1000 Other Questions
          by JayPoorJay
          Good Morning All.

Now I've gone and done it! Wife and I bought a big old "new" 100yo colonial house and a guy can dream, right??? I'm building a sauna and a steam shower in the basement.

At this point, because of y'all, I've fixed a couple TVs, replaced a few capacitors and resistors, repaired some E ribbons, ALL with y'all's help and reading here. Next challenge,,,, I am still and perhaps will ALWAYS be at bottom of a steep learning curve with electronics... Anywho,,,

These things (Thermosol Steam Suite ASD450) NEW are in the thousands. That plus...

          A2338 820-02020-A 5V, no screen, unable to revive/restore
          by yheriatovych
Hi. I need some help troubleshooting the issue (which is a bit odd to my limited experience) with the A2338 Macbook.

          Initial symptoms:

One day the laptop refused to wake up (as it seemed at first), spinning the fan on full blast, with no picture on the screen.
Force rebooting didn't help. To check if it boots at all I connected the external display and surprisingly it booted to the system, and I was able to log in to the system.
However, I noticed that it was in some weird state:
          • The fan was still blasting at full speed. It's blasting even when the system
