Mr RJ please, aside from it being a potentiometer, the one you linked and mine that I need are nothing alike.

What's up with yours? These can be stripped down and the insides cleaned and repaired.

It has failed completely. This one can not be stripped down as it is riveted by design.

And than what? It has failed completely, snapped middle leg from within, and besides, how would you ever attach it back again?

                with long screws and nuts.
if nothing else, you may be able to replace the wafers with the tracks on from a non-motorised pot.

Hi Mr. RJ. Is that RK27112MC, do you know where I can get complete datasheet? Can the little nudge be removed easy? The nudge on the original one is below the shaft just above the contacts.

it's soft metal (zinc) you can remove it with a file or a small hacksaw.
you could even snap it off with pliers but it may take a chunk of the base with it.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/351631436027 I did't look close enough at my first post, it was indeed the wrong style pot this should be a lot closer
The original might be a custom pot, as for the nudge/lug, you could drill a small hole for the new pot's nudge/lug location

From what I can see the pinout is the correct order only that the distance from back mount for the gear assembly to the front pot mount is 21.5mm on the original and 30.5mm on the new one. Dont know how will that look like when mounted.

Being out of soft metal in the base as Mr STJ says, how well will these pots handle stress from cutting and drilling in their shaft? I˙ve found an original type but with 30mm shaft in China.

cutting the shaft is easy with a dremel or saw - it's usually aluminium.

It looks like your original pot has the second wafer mounted closer to the motor end on the shaft so check the distance from the front wafer to the gear mount, it may only be the second wafer that is in the wrong position.
it looks like the distance between the front and rear pot wafer is different

i have a 2017 volvo that i upgraded the stereo in but the week link now is the SBC codec the head unit uses to transmit audio. i took the unit apart and we have a UGKZ2 combo module with a CSR8311 bt chip. after some research it is my understanding that ALPS made another combo module that used the CSR8350 chip. this chip is capable of aptx. https://vehicle-electronics.biz/cont...s-alps-modules

my question is, would it be possible to swap out this UGX module as plug n play? what about replacing the CSR chip itself? any idea where to get either?

                                by buoi bien hoa
                                Hi everyone in this forum,

My name is Phong, and I have been a handyman working for hotels for 20 years. It's becoming a bit too heavy for me to carry the PTAC units to wash them every year. I'm looking for ideas on how to convert my 3-wheel dolly into a 12V motorized dolly. I would appreciate any suggestions on where to buy the parts or any general help to get me started with this task. The capacity should be around 100 to 200 pounds, but my current 3-wheel dolly has a total capacity of about 600 pounds. Sorry if my english is not too good.

                                Thank you for your help!...

I have the schematic of the kenwood I am working on. It shows the wafer switch which is the on/off - A speakers - B speakers - A + B speaker switch. I don't trust the wiring
because it doesn't seem to add up for me. If I can identfy at least one of the pins I should be able to rewire it correctly or at least make sure it currently wired correctly but I don't know how to find this out. Pictures are in my thread "trying to refurbish and repair my kenwood kr-6030. I would appreciate the help.

Older microwave/convection oven I picked for free on Marketplace. Previous owner replaced turntable motor which didn't fit in the mounting hole properly. Shaft was at an angle causing plastic thing that fits onto it to eventually break. Filed the hole bigger, fitted the motor correctly, put on a new plastic thing, all (almost) is OK.

The fluorescent display is quite dim. The camera doesn't see what the eye sees so these pictures are brighter than what the display really looks like:

I had taken out the pot for my Denon DAP-5500 as it was scratchy and would sometimes drop a channel til I would work it and would come back for few days. Decided I had time today and would just desolder from board and disassemble and clean properly. My only issue is I forgot to take a pic of the orientation of each of the white parts and how they were aligned. Due to the shape of the rod and the cutouts on each white piece they can only go one of two ways. I did have frame of mind right after I took off the first (back) and I know how that last white piece was orientated, note the main shaft is...
