Very handy tool. I have one works great for backlights. You can even use to find voltage for zeners

it looks good.
as it's mains powered, make sure it's for 110v before you buy.

Why would it not be universal input?
Says 110 > 265v on the case.

Being Chinese you always need to make sure of voltages. US seller would not likely sell 220v version

Mine says 110V-265V as well and I work mine on 120V with no problem.....Go ahead and buy one....you'll be pleased with it. Holding the probes tips with your bare hands could give you a good jolt, as I have discovered.

The supplies may by universal but you have to watch what cord they send

Well I bought one of those led testers

Have you had the opportunity to test it?.....Believe me yo will come to realise money well spent as you would cut LCD/LED TV troubleshooting time considerably. Congrats.

No I do not have the unit yet it should be here this coming week maybe Tuesday
