Laptops Broken hinges .

I know it's better to replace the broken hinges with new ones , but sometimes they aren't available or too much expensive , beyond reasonable .

What are your best ways to fix'em ? ... welder ? chemical resine ? or ...?

In my 15+ years of experience fixing up laptops, the best thing to do is to replace the hinges with new or second hand ones. Repairs rarely last very long, there is a great deal of stress put on the hinges when opening and closing the lid.

Yah, its true, sometime, can't find copy, used or original hinges.Than i have an idea.
I bought (teeth gum), its kind of chemical that used for making and fixing new teeth in mouth. (detail technician know better).
I used this formula on verities of laptop( broken bodies, hinges and verities of things).
no complain found. its Powerful gum in the world. i found that.

Yes it's true , but what if the item is NA ? , Sony for example , announced that it will stop PC business and Vaio spare parts could become rare ..

What can you say to a customer ? ...
