Wirewound resistors, R5600 and R5610 are 10 ohm resistors, paralleled together became a 5 ohm resistor which has 13.8A current (952w) passes through about 20 seconds (19k Joules) becomes red hot.
That's a very good question! TV came with no Fuses blown out, with shorted buffer ICs and red hot resistors, Unknowing customer maybe let the TV on for hours?
Tv has been fixed, I measure from ground to not red hot-working resistors voltage readout is 69v DC?
That is why it did not make sense because you are not measuring the actual Vrops on the resistor. When numbers do not added up then you know it is an error in measurement, especial when you see 13.8A.
Details and common sense and math come into play.
Sorry, I can't re-established the crime scene, anymore! I try to shorted the pin as the original buffer board did (this is other junk buffer board), the red hot resistors no more worked .....And this is the customer's TV, I need to stop some where .........see you guy next time, I will measure the Vrops on the red-hot resistors first.......
You know, I gonna have an insomnia. So I double checked, I found power cable to Y sustain board is unplugged...................Thanks budm again..........
They should have use FUSIBLE resistor instead or better circuit protection design to stop too much current flow when fault occur. But at least they use Fame proof resistors.
