I thought about that but he did it.

PS: My idea is add one more dummy led to low down the current to the LEDs screen, no needs to bring down the brightness level?

What! 5M White 3528 SMD LED Strip Light Non-Waterproof 12V DC 300 LED for $1.99

It is constant current power supply, so if the load resistance changes then the circuit will try to maintain constant current through the load, to limit the maximum constant current you will have to change the current sensing resistor.
BTW, Brightness control is not the as Backlights level control.
Look up constant current power supply function or look at the LED tester you just made, vary the load resistance and you will still see constant current through the resistor (up to the limit of the power supply).

Yes, I saw some-people DID that vary the load resistance.

IMAC A1418 / MB: 820-00430-a / does not turn on, Lights 3 of the 4 LEDs and turns off.

Does not turn on, lights 3 of the 4 LEDs and turns off and stays like this, presses the power and repeats.
I saw that the room LED lights up only when the screen is connected, so quiet.

We have all the power supplies, even processor, 1.8V
One thing I found strange, it has a very low resistance in the Vcore is giving 1 Ohm , work with notes and such, I know that this is normal in some processors but with this resistance only take video card so found it strange.

I suspect that there may be some leak in the processor.
Anyway, when I press the power, it...

Christmas lights - Something I am doing wrong
            by Francesc V.
            Hi:

i am trying to repair this Christmas lights from my parents. They are incandescent lights, no led lights.

I have tried with 12V a 24V small lights that I found in Aliexpress but is obvious that are not the right ones. They last microseconds connected. Do they blow because of Amps or Volts?

If I measure the Amps in the string........it's only 90mA. If I measure the Volts in the "green box"......it's between 0 and 190V, but doing a little bit of maths from the number of bulbs in series.......it's only about 6V per lamp.

            Could...

Corsair K70 LUX RGB dying LEDs
            by Pipolups
            Hi there !

I'm having an issue for several weeks with my quite old K70 LUX RGB keyboard. I haven't used it for few months, and once I setup up again my desktop computer, I got several dead LEDs on that keyboard. I tried the Corsair troubleshooting thing (disabling options in iCUE, ...) but nothing changed so I conclude that for some reason some LEDs went in retirement...😅
Decision taken to change these LEDs as I have access to desoldering iron and binocular magnifier, I wrote a ticket to tech support, hopping to obtain the LEDs reference and... They refused to tell me 🙄...

            Hi There!
I'm trying to help my friend who owns a restaurant be just bought.
He has a very long LED strip running along all the walls and columns. The strip is attached facing down 2in above the floor, using a wall panel that ends in a metal rail that finishes the panel underneath
It's stuck using, I guess, the 2 sided tape that comes with the strip
The issue is that like 1/2 of the full length, including 1/2 one wall, another entire wall, and one column, flickers after 4 or 5 minutes ON. Particularly it flashes staying OFF most of the time and flashing ON for 1 tenth...

Need help replacing led strip on Iiyama Prolite XUB2390HS monitor
            by mikey5791
            Hi,
Got this working ips led monitor by the brand of
Iiyama Prolite XUB2390HS presumably a 23 inch type given to me with suspected bad led backlight. To test it, i unplugged the bad flat ribbon type connector and plugged it a good flat ribbon led connector scrapped from a HP Pavillion 27cw (led strip with 60 led). Good news is the HP led strip lights up but not fully, in between there are about 15 unlit leds.(as picture attached shows).

Fyi, i had not opened and removed the old bad led strip. My question is whether is it possible to cut some of the extra leds(say...
