It looks like this has house which means that you will not find any info on it

I could not find the semiconductor manufacturer's logo.
It looks like it starts with 'P'. That is where I would search first.
I read the IC markings as:
P? G77
00A3P
844AB

What's it go to? Maybe we could find a schematic for the device and it'll tell us what it is. I believe it's a QFN package. Perhaps that'll help you a little? You probably already know that though, especially if you were able to remove it. Those things can be a bit tricky if you don't know what you're doing!
