Need help finding compatible 3.3v regulator

Looking for a ame8815 becs330 3.3v to-252 regulator. I ordered what I thought was a replacement and they don't seem to work. Can someone help me find a compatible replacement part.

ALSO , why didn't my part work.
    Here is what i ordered

What DCV do you get at the input pin and the output pin?
What resistance do you have at the output pin and GND?
The filter caps at input and output pins are goods?
What kind of product are you working on?
    Pictures?
BTW, the sub is rated at 1A, the original is rated at 1.5A

Where did you tap the other 5V to feed this IC I203 (this is the one you are having problem with, right?).

IC 202 was not putting out 5v and input was being dragged down. I ran a wire from ic 203 Tab to tab on ic 202 and everything started working. Moved component from ic203 location to ic202 and the output is now 5v.
Not sure if the component didn't work because the current was too high or if there was something else i missed.

IC 202 output is 3.3V, the input is 5V.

            IC202, 203 are both 3.3V regulators?
Also what do you mean by 'TAB', the big tab?

'Moved component from ic203 location to ic202 and the output is now 5v.' I do not understand why you are indicating 5V output when both regulators are 3.3V so the output should be 3.3V not 5V!

Sorry, didn't realize that the second datasheet link wasn't right. Yes they are both identical parts, the inputs are both 5v and the outputs are 3.3. Tab, yes the one that is connected to pin 2.

So you are connecting the OUTPUT pin (Big tab) of both IC together, NOT the 5V input pins?
So the BOTH IC 202, 203 have 5V present to both IC or the IC202 is not getting 5V?
If you check the resistance between the INPUT pins (the pin on the right) of BOTH ICs, what do you get?

I am connecting the outputs of both Ics together. Ic202 gets 5v without old faulty and new component. .5v with. iC203(working) in both locations input is correct 5v and 3.3 output.

resistance between input pins of both Ics are infinite.

Resistance between ground and output at ic 203 location is infinite. ic202 output and ground is ~42 ohms.

42 Ohms does not sound right.
But the whole thing does not make sense since IC203 is working OK at both location, and if you put IC202 in place where IC203 is, does it load down the 5V too when installed in place of IC203?

resistance between input pins of both Ics are infinite.
That means the input pins are not directly connected to the same 5V source.

Re: Need help finding compatible 3.3v regulator

I swapped the ics. ic203 was moved to ic202 and then i got correct input and output voltage. Also getting correct input at ic203 (With no component installed)

Put newly purchased ic on ic203 and it caused the 5v to disappear from ic202 but now ic203 works properly.
