Finding a compatible USB Thunderbolt 3 port for this Asus g752vt board

Hi All,

so I got an Asus g752vt and the USB C (Thunderbolt) port is broken. I need to find a compatible replacement for that.

Are all USB C conectors the same or do I need to get a specific one for that board. The USB port brand is LOTES and it has the 1546 number on top of it. Where can I Find a similar one ?

'1546' = datecode with 2015 and 46th week for the mfr of this component.

Check the Lotes website (Taiwan).

Share your full details and pics with one of the above vendors on Aliexpress. They should be able to find you a replacement connector. Perhaps even a standard USB-C connector will work here but best to open a chat with the vendor. Most of China is on their long labour week holidays till next week.

Just a guess since I can't see the pinout on the underside but it looks an awful lot like the ones used on the xbox series controller. Can't say for sure though without seeing the underside of the port/pads on the board and the pinout may be different, but those ports are maybe a buck online.
