    Transistor Identification

I'm trying to find a replacement for these 2 transistors. They are in a shift control module that belongs in my wife's SUV. The one labeled badtrans seems to be shorted (tested in circuit). If I can find a replacement I'll remove from circuit and test it to be sure. Any help would be appreciated.

    thanks, pbr333

Might have to reverse engineer from the circuit. What brand car?
A lot of car manufacturers obscure component identification...

chevy 2001 Tahoe. I believe this motor control circuit in where polarity to motor is switched to achieve transfer case gear change.

          they are probably fets
so pull the working one and stuff it in a component tester.

D412 is the circuit reference for a diode. The part looks like a dual diode that connects between each motor terminal and the positive supply.

The relays do the switching, not the semis.

The pinout for the relays is in the following datasheet:

Help please with identification of few components for troubleshooting (Solar Water Fountain circuit)
              by Techie_hobby1
Need some help please with a few components on this small board so that I can troubleshoot the circuit.

The PCB is a Single sided board fairly simple circuitry has a +ve and -ve Solar cell power input, a 7.4v 1500mAh (dual 18630 cell) power in which the Solar panel charges the cells, and lastly the Output goes to a DC connector...
J1 is actually 1P1T Switch (in ON position completes Battery cell circuit
              J2 - to DC Output
              J3 is Battery cell connector

however I am struggling to identify if:
              Y1 (SOT-23) are NPN Transistors, MOSFET's or 11v Zener's....

Guide to transplant MEC1503 EC chip and EEPROM reprogamming for T14s gen 2 and X13 gen 2
              by acedogblast
This is a guide that I am writing for helping others to replace their MEC1503 EC chip if it breaks (or to get around an inconvenient prompt to the BIOS). This forum has been extremely helpful to me so I would like to contribute to help others. I will tell you right now that this task is very difficult to do. You MUST have experience and tools to do precision micro-soldering, BGA reballing, trace repair, and general laptop repair skills.

There are some specialty tools needed to do this task. The replacement MEC1503 chips can be acquired from Aliexpress. Do not buy the bare chips as...

Bias matching replacement transistor - Parasound 2250
              by Haaheim
              Hi guys!

I am currently working on a Parasound 2250 (class AB), which had one defective channel. Components in the signal paths have been replaced, including an output transistor (2SC3519).

According to the manufacturer, bias is adjusted by measuring 1-3mV across the output resistors. The original ones are completely fine around 1.5mV, but the replacement is not. Initially, I got a couple from eBay, assumed they were fake (they were) and was able to source a replacement locally. This exhibits similar behaviour, being around 0.6-0.8mV on its emitter resistor....

Bose Acoustimass 10 IV Subwoofer No Sound. Help with burnt component identification?
              by nobbnobb1
I picked up this used Bose Acoustimass 10 IV speaker system. Speakers seem to work fine, but the subwoofer does not make any noise. So I took apart the unit and found some obviously failed (burnt) components:

              - 1x 3.14 A @ 250V main circuit fuse
              - 1x bridge rectifier GBU601. there's actually two of these on the board, one is obviously burnt and the other does not seem to have any anomalies like shorts. However I figure may as well replace both.
              - 2x diode. This is tricky because the only markings I see on it are: "617 402". No current rating or anything else....

              op amp circuit function?
              by Alimash
              Hi,
I am repairing a ups which doesn't turn on ,it has the following ICs:
SG3525 used to drive inverter mosfets.
couple of uc3483, one for the power supply and another to drive a big mosfet at the output stage(i think the technique is called boost)
A LM358 and TL074 for control mechanism and of course the uController.

The SG3525 is shutting down every time the ups is turned on.
I want your help to know the function of LM358 and TL074 in the system.
I reverse engineered the LM358 circuit and i think that one of the block(A) is used for battery level...
