stjstj I wouldn't even know how to convert this Hot Air Gun into the PTC element I have.. I only have 1 AC port, so where does AC2 come in? Also, that is being run off 24v PSU but is this the method I should be following, then converting from Ac240v to DC 24v?

I will definitely be eliminating the DC side..
I didn't think the incandescent dimmers used PWM? however the LED dimmer modules worked as PWM from memory.. Iactually think...

Oh now I understand.. I thought that the 2 PTC's were connected in Series, but looking back at the schematic they are 2 separate circuits as per your previous mentions
Therefore, if I disconnect DC socket, 1 x ptc and the 3.4k resistor that will solve the danger side.
Any thoughts on adding some kind of temperature control i.e thermostat to control its temperature a little better.

stjstj and all
Note: I am extremely novice at producing circuit diagrams at the moment, and trying to get to grips with KiCad, but this is how I think it is wired up....
I will only like kind replies please.

Help with a poorly looking component identification plea
A friend of the family has handed me a food warmer that has failed on her.
I appreciate that some people will alert me that it is probably cheaply made, but she has extremely limited mobility, and it is perfect for keeping her food nice and warm, once her carers have left.
It has 2 power options (either 12V DC cigarette lighter or AC 240v IEC C7 socket).
Basically, it powers 2 x PTC elements which are attached to a metal plate.
A (removable)metal deep tray is then placed on-top of the small plate which keeps the food nice and warm.
I thought at first...2 Photos

Another component identification please - these Xbox controllers are a pain in the rear end haha
Could someone please help me with yet another Xbox controller component..
I have 2 Xbox Series X motherboards to hand (one being a faulty spare for parts only) and the other being a family friends faulty MB. He inserted 2 x AA Alkaline batteries and decided to plug the controller into USB-C which instantly made some magic smoke appear and wants me to see if I can fix it for him.
Yet another white (limited edition MB though)
truclacicr I know you are pretty good at previous id's, but anyone else can help me also
Many thankstruclacicr2 Photos
