Recommendation on 180uf 450V radial cap.

    Currently I have three boards using a single Samxon 180uf, 450v cap (22mm x 5 cm)

It _appears_ okay, but since five of the six other caps on the board are bad, I was going to replace them all, including the Samxon pill bottle.

(If anyone is curious, the other caps are capxon 25v 330's and samxon 25v 820's - the last one is a teeny 50v, 47uf)

I'm planning on replacing the 820's with 1000's (I can't _find_ 820's), and the 330's with 330's. The tiny 50v will get an exact replacement as well.

What can I use to replace the pill bottle? It's for the display on an X-Ray/MRI machine, so I don't really follow what it's purpose is going to be (even after reading here for a while). Unfortunately, most of the 450/180's are snap caps, and I can't figure out what the benefit is, and noone's replied if I can simply extend leads on a snap cap to use them.

Should I simply go up a bit on the capacitance and use a different 450v cap, or would I be best off to buy the one $7.50 nichicon cap that's almost exactly the same. (Oh, and what should I use to replace the white glue they used to hold it to the board?)

It's hard to say, because of the damned glue, but it appears to be a Samxon GF(M) UDA - 22mm diameter, 50mm length, 10mm lead space.

The board isn't a motherboard - it's a powerboard for a display unit as part of an X-ray or MRI machine - IP-58130A

Total caps on the board are:
1 of the huge Samxon - not blown, can't really test it. long leads, bent so that the cap can lay flat on the board.
      2 Samxon GF(M) UDA 820uf / 25v (Exploded. Replacing with 1000uF, because that's what I can get)
3 Capxon GL 330uF / 25v (exploded) - (I'm thinking Samxon and CapXon are the same company because of this board)

      1 6.3mm 50v, 47uF cap.

I have everything but the huge honker. (well, I'm replacing the 1cm 820uf's with 12mm 1000uF's - there appears to be JUST enough space to do that - can't find any 1 cm caps to fit in there)
