asus 24 monitor...what would cause this on the screen?
have this stripe on the screen..it does fill in when it sits on a page...but you can see the box type effect in the gray zone... ........ -
its a 65 inch onn roku....10001258-ca model....i thought ..what the hell try it out......its been working 4 hours...i reset the tv twice because it wasint updating....but pushed the reset button on the back for more then 30 seconds....it went into recovery mode..and updated no problem...the most power the leds take is 252 volts.....i was worries about the microferret range on it ..since it was 3 higher...no problems so far....i picked up the capacitor from a small samsung dvd player...Leave a comment:

I have one like this...I powered it up..it shuts off after 5 to 10 min...I put it beside the air conditioner ..its been working for hours...figure its a regulator...anyone fix this and know wich regulator?..i don't think its solder relatedLeave a comment:

panasonic tc-p50u2
i have a Panasonic tc=p50c2.. after testing i think it has a dead ss and sc board..it was giving me the 10 blinks....i have 2 other boards from a tc p50s2 (i believe) the dead one is a tnpa5072 ss board..the other ss is a tpna5106..are the parts interchangeable? i also have the sc board...but both ss and sc boards are larger then the one im trying to fix...the working boards came from a cracked screen tv i have... -

My freind gave me a pjojection tv..said it went off during a power outage..checked out the power supply...there are a couple bad capacitors..bulging...i have replaced all but one ..cant see what type it .the writing on the side of the cap is fadded ...out.....the model number is a rca s61w136db.....its at cp114..thatnk for any info -

I just fixed a sharp 70 inch...the tcon is a lot bigger then the sony...maby thats why it didint blow...just removed the tabs on the left side......Leave a comment:

Think it's dead...the are 4 tabs on the side..each with an ic chip..there are vertical lines in that area..pulled the tab off there...it is still doing the Same thing..but looks a little better on the left side..still freezing and weird colors..the white area went away slightly..its darker but white around the boarder in that area..Leave a comment:

That's glue..must have been installed that way...I resoldered the hdmi plugs..but since the screen is messed up..cant see which if any work..Leave a comment:
