    I have an HP laptop 15-fd0123dx with motherboard DA0PDIMB8G0 REV:G. that had shorted diode at +19v input from DC in jack.

    I can't find schematics for the board and am trying to find a suitable replacement. The only markings on the diode are 'BV' According to chat gpt, based on the information I gave about location and purpose of the diode along with it's dimensions, I need to look for "SOD-123FL 24V TVS diode unidirectional".

    Hello, I am looking for help to replace a damaged diode. The tristar was replaced and a diode was damaged in the process. I have a picture of the diode but dont have an exact donor. I mostly have macbooks for donors and only a few ipad and iphone boards. Diode part number: DSF01S30SCAP
    Im not sure where to find the ipad board number. Anybody have an idea where else this diode is used on other boards? Thanks....

    TV backlight zener diode

    Hello everyone, I'm repairing an LG TV backlight and I noticed some strange behavior when I touching the backlight strip with a missing Zener diode.

    So I replaced the leds on the strips and they seemingly working fine, but soon as I touch the strip which has a missing Zener diode the whole backlight turns off for a few seconds and then turns back on.

    Is this caused by the missing diode? If so what kind of zener diode should I use to replace it?.

    The led strips has 9 6V leds.

    Help identify the PS4 psu N14-240P1A DIODE

    I have a PS4 psu model: N14-240P1A with a blown diode D6 that connects to 8.th pin of the FAN6961 IC(the ic was also dead so i replaced it).
    The half of the diode is gone, but on the other half is written number 2 and beneath number 8.

    Does anybody know what diode it is, or can confirm what i found out :

    By measurements it should be gull wing SOD-123 package.
    And chatGPT says that it should be A2 (1N4148W) a part of the bootstrap circuit for FAN6961 IC....
