USB chargers that give more than 5V?

I recently bought a portable label printer with a USB port that allows you to charge the internal battery. It comes with a USB-A to Micro-USB cable, but no charging plug. A sticker next to the charging port says "Warning! Do not use adapter with voltage over 5V!"

Thing is, are there any USB chargers that give out more than 5V, and in what situation would that be used? Just to be on the safe side I used a multimeter to measure my chargers - one is giving out 5.11V, the other is giving out 4.9V. The warning sticker suggests the printer doesn't have any overvoltage protection circuit, which could be a nasty surprise for someone...

Some mobile phone chargers with USB-A port do have multiple output voltages, example: Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0/3.0 or other competing standards before USB PD was standardized among phone manufacturers
Check the label of your charger if it lists multiple output voltages
At least on QC2.0/3.0 chargers they start at 5V, when a compatible phone is connected it negotiates higher voltage, can't speak for other "fast charge" standards

all usb chargers are 5v -even QC types are 5v unless they recieve commands to up the output.
the real thing to watch is the current.
how much does the printer need?
most cheap chargers are 1A, old ones from companies like samsung, nokia etc arent even that much sometimes.

Some are a bit higher than 5v to compensate for the voltage drop from the copper wiring and/or forward voltage drop of diodes on the target board. For example, the raspberry Pi power adapter. Will not kill the widget as the voltage is within tolerance specifications.

Anycubic Photon 5.5 3D printer 25Q32 flashrom dump needed
          by re-atari
Hello all, as the title says, I'm very much in need of a valid firmware dump of a Anycubic Photon 5.5 3D resin printer. It's stored in a Winbond 25Q32, so it's 4Mbyte.

Here's a little background for my request. A few weeks ago I bought this 3D printer from a guy who had moved on to a PLA printer. I got it at a vey reasonable price, as it was in a defective state. The seller told me that he had experienced a power failure during a firmware upgrade, after which the printer appeared to be dead. He thought the firmware was corrupted in such a way that the printer was now bricked. As he...

Brother HL-2140 laser printer: printer error (solved)
          by Curious808
SOLVED. I removed the printer in settings, replugged and let it reinstall and it worked this time.

          Brother HL-2140 laser printer
          Windows 10

Attempt to print and immediately get a Windows pop-up saying "Error printing". The document appears in the printer queue window with Status "Error-printing".

Turned off printer. Unplugged, waited, replugged. Ran the Windows troubleshooter. Removed and reinserted toner cartridge. Checked for paper jam. No printer error lights. Reinstalled driver. Restarted the Spooler service. Rebooted...

HP officeJet 8012e ... A printer update will be installed to fix this problem
          by Artefil
          Hi,
One of the partner I'm mostly working with, brought his Officejet 8012e, facing a problem I'm failing finding a solution.
On the Officejet 8012e, there's only one USB connector on the back, for connecting the printer to a computer.
The screen displays the following message :
"a problem has occured with one of the printer's critical system files. A printer update will be installed to fix this problem"
But even if the printer is connected through wifi to the network, nothings happen, and the printer stays idle for days.

          Have you ever...

Bosch 12V and 18V chargers modification
          by Petr0x
Hi, I would like to share with you small modification to your Bosch tool 12V and 18V chargers.

You can use it for almost all Bosch chargers what I have seen, for example part numbers GAL 18V-20, GAL 18V-40, GAL 1880, GAL 18V-160, AL 1820, AL1115CV, AL1130CV.

Bosch (today also other brands using the same system like Wurth, Fein) does not care if you destroy your batteries, because they can sell you new ones. So the marketing is telling you only about speed of the charging, so you will not wait for your batteries to charge too long. Me as a customer want the tools and batteries...

Need dump for 58mm Thermal Printer
          by прямо
          Hi all,

a friend gave me this printer because it's no longer working.

It powers on, but won't do a self-test print and when connected via USB to Windows, Device Manager says No Printer Attached under USB Hubs tree.

The red light doesn't blink either with no paper inside.

I think the firmware maybe corrupted. If someone has a similar printer and can provide a firmware dump, I really appreciate it.

          Printer model: Panda PRJ-58U
          Flash memory: Boyamicro BY25D16ASSIG
