Hi!
I got a defective mini PC mainboard which I am trying to repair.
I don't know the model of the mini PC and I can't find anything about this board online.

When plugged in with USB-C the board does nothing. But it drains about 1.7W.
I noticed, that one component near one of the two USB-C ports get's quite hot (>80°C).
Since I don't have the schematics, I don't really know what component this is. I assume it is some kind of USB-C power or protection controller.
It is labeled "THAC KHD", has 9 Pins and is BGA soldered. I desoldered it, to take some pictures.
After desoldering the board power consumption went down to 0W.
.

Does anybody know what this component actually is? How likely is it to break?
Thank you very much!
