Am I reading this right? (help?)

So I got a 42" Philips, (42PFL7422D/37) doesn't turn on, throws a blink code of six follow by three fast blinks. Either it's error code 6 or error code 63, I can't tell.

Anyways probing around the board, it appears pin 8 of connector 1P11 doesn't have 12v, now reading the photo below I want to assume 12v is coming from the DC-DC, is this correct?

if so then I'm not getting any voltage as far back as 5011 transformer for either 12 or 24v.

I also hear the relay click and have +5V2 at pin 7 of 1P11 and 3.7v at pin 6 which engages the relay.

no voltage at pin 2 (Power-Good)

Also how can I test for 400v_HOT at the transformers to make sure they are getting power?

    datasheet for the TV.

what a train-wreck of a psu - it looks like the crap samsung comes up with!

scope the primary transformer pins - with 600v+ probes!
or check the high and low side fet's for shorts (page 59)
if they arent shorted try replacing the opto isolator & current source lm431.
they dont call it an lm431 - but that's it's generic part number.

      Well it's better than nothing.

I'm a noob but where are you seeing current source lm431? I know it's not named like that but where are you seeing it? is it on p59 or another page? I'm looking for the symbols but I don't see it.

Also which opto isolator there's 7002 on p59 and 7307 on p58. I think you meant 7307, I'll look into it.

I'll check the fets tomorrow since I spent most of tonight on two other tv's beside this one, I'm really tired.

follow the optoisolator led pins - it's halfway down on the right and looks like a zener diode in a box with 3 legs.

ah, you're talking about 7010 (TS2431.) I thought that as a box with a diode in it, I'm really tired.

Thank you, I'll take closer look at these and check the transformers tomorrow.

I think you should move this thread to TV section.

              9V relay temperature 40C
              by jm1234
Hi, I'm seeing one 9V relay having temperature 40C on its 9V (primary) side. Does that seem right? I switched 2 relays on that board and the temperature was the same (on the same position), so I'm sure it's not a faulty relay. I measured voltage on that relay and it was 9.5V DC, so that looks good. I don't see any other relay on that board having that kind of temperature and they have 9V on them too.
I thought maybe the transistor that is switching this relay keeps switching on/off, so I also checked for AC and there was almost none: 0.3V using mV range. No steady frequency was shown, but...

Biomass Boiler not driving cleaner motor relay. ENERTRES BIOMASA BI-650
              by edugimeno
              Hi everyone!
I have this board that suddenly stopped supplying power to an output that drives an interchanger cleaner motor.
I checked while the board was in place with all wires attached and there's no AC voltage on the corresponding plug X5
This X5 is driven by fuse F8 (tested OK) which comes from the second orange relay
To make sure there are no charcoaled contacts inside the relay, I got a 24VDC power supply and got it ready to manually power up the coil side of these relays.
I respected the polarity, positive to cathode of protecting diode
              So provided all...

Mitsubishi CNC switching power supply board dead / relay board bad diode failure
              by sam_sam_sam
I was working on this CNC machine today found no keyboard functioning no control relay powering on
The screen powered on and was giving an operation error but the manual was not very clear about what the error exactly was but with a little bit of troubleshooting and finding out that the control relays not powering on and no keyboard functions we narrowed down to this one switching power supply which of course does not have any indicator LED light they are on the keyboard interface/relay controller board

Found shorted diodes on main controller relays there are 3 of them that...

              Yamaha HTR-3065 No power/No Standby
              by redbaron1007
I got a Yamaha HTR-3065 on the bench currently that's got a no power/ no standby issue. When I plug it in it draws 0.01A from the wall, the relay for the ac transformer never clicks, there are no standby lights on the front, and pressing the power button does nothing. The fuse was not blown but upon measuring the voltages on the power low voltage power supply board (labeled operation 3 pg 89 in the schematic) they do not match what the schematic says they should be.

              PS5 HDMI port diode reading?
              by SuperAman
I did an hdmi port repair for a PS5 and I lost the small diode z71 SOD923 on the back of the port. I did a trace repair for pin 19 of the port as well. Without the diode I get no display at all. I tried replacing the diode twice but after I get flux on it the marking comes off so I can't tell if I have it on the right orientation. When I measure I get a reading of 1(open) and 923 in diode mode. Is 923 a normal reading for these and also which side should the reading be with regards to the arrow on the board?...
