    Identify this IC please?

it is an 8 pin chip on a laptop motherboard. The writing on it is as follows:

    4800
    CS
    L35A

The schematic says it is location "PQ1". I am hoping it is a spare MOSFET for another laptop i'm working on.

Googling or searching for these numbers on mouser etc does not tell me for sure if it's a MOSFET. Thanks~!

Thanks so much. Do you think that I could use this to replace a N4800LS for a laptop I'm working on?

I see a 4800 in there so I'm hoping I don't have to wait for a special order from digikey.

No, the 4800 is a dual mosfet, the N4800LS is a single mosfet
          look up the here,

see how the G.D.S are different on the pin layout

Must always be careful with datasheets/parts.

              From Vishay, single N-channel:

              https://cdn.badcaps-static.com/pdfs/...cbcb94e522.pdf

From Alpha & Omega, dual N-channel:

              https://cdn.badcaps-static.com/pdfs/...7ece07b47d.pdf

Perhaps checking by multimeter would be a good idea to be more sure about unknown part.

                @euromatlox, well spotted thanks
                .
@evanesce, best check your pinout on your 4800 to see if its single or dual, as you can see by euromatlot's posting it could be single or dual
