Re: Where would you buy the part
I bought an inverter board from shopjimmy, it came in 2 days and was packed very well.
They bow the inverter board to make it fit in the secondary box, which is a NO NO! But they were lucky the board work fine.
Just make sure the numbers match and the picture looks like yours. -
Re: Where would you buy the part
You should just have the Y or Z boards re-chipped.
There are several good companies that do this.
Most are less than 100.00 per board. The older single ipm boards are even cheaper.
These boards are only good for about 2500 hours. Used boards are a gamble.
New boards may even be updated and not just swapped ipms out with new ones.Last edited by cadiman; 04-24-2012, 05:35 PM.Comment

Vizio e601i-A3 - Has Sound and Display, But No Backlight - Bad Power Supply Board or Bad LED Bulbs ?by Tynan DillI was given this TV from my great uncle. He said it just wouldn't turn on one day out of nowhere, replaced the TV, and gave it to me to possibly fix and use for myself.
Upon bringing it home and plugging it up, it showed a standby light.
I powered it on and without a flashlight, the display showed the "V" but the lighting is very dim, but visible.
The screen seems to blackout and stay black, but with a flashlight I can see the display.
With my Playstation 4 connected via HDMI, and running a game I can hear sound.

by CvradoHello my friends!
I have a question that I think you can answer and help me with!
I have a faulty main board from an led TV. And I found the same part number board and design but is from a 43" TV and I want to use it on a 65". On its stickers , all are the same except the wattage for the LEDs backlight, both state different watts and LED Voltages!
So I presume that the backlight inverter section from the replacement board has lower wattage then the original one, am I right?
My concern is that the board won't draw enough voltage to the bac... -
by howardc64All left and right refers to looking from rear of TV (or looking from front with TV upside down)
- TV came with vertical bars and no image. Found faulty TVS on left buffer board. Also replaced T-Con (may have damaged the original while hot air removing components, board has slight warp) and have full image but few horizontal lines on the screen. Some of the lines appears to be 2 pixel tall while others are 1 pixel tall.
- Disconnecting left and right buffer board potentially reveals problems on both sides with different signals (unless this T-Con require jumper like Samsung FB_TRDY1&3) Fault
