Hi Guys; I have here a Xytronic LF-1000 Soldering Station that i broke the soldering Iron 210ESD 32/100v assembly arm, on my small bench by crashing the soldering iron assembly with a TV that pushed it against the wall, so after the soldering station just failed,i was able to fix it by putting in a triac RT137 and glued up the soldering iron assembly but could not control the heat as before when putting the tip assembly on the resting arm, it would lower the heat, today i ordered a new soldering Iron assembly but it continues not to control the heat, heat keeps rising and and stays high, my question, is this chip CD4541BE the cause of it not to control the heat.i send here some pics of the boards and the inside of the soldering station and arm tip assembly, any help will be appreciated thanks in advance.

Is this the temp. control board for the arm?
component SW.3
Looks like you resolder it. Were leads "R" and "M" originally bridge soldered?
If they weren't, unbridge them and see if that helps. -

Re: Soldering Station not controling heat
Thanks joshnz; for you interest in this problem, spent 65 dollars on a new Iron assembly and hate that was for nothing, the iron still works good is that if i am doing some job it will stay on the temperature that i set instead of when i put it in the rest stand it should idle with lower temperature it saves the tip.here goes the solder that i made on the Triac,i did not use led free solder,i used 60/40, maybe i should i have some,Comment

by sam_sam_samI have been working on this concept for quite some time now with limited success but recently I found a switching power supply that is setup for the voltage that this soldering station needs to operate at however it also needs part of the secondary circuit from the original switching power because you need several voltage rails
I once tried to get a ZD-915 desoldering station to work on a 18 volt battery power supply but unfortunately things did not go well but I did find a work around but I might try this idea again but going at a little differently more about this another time... -

A few months ago,I have purchased 0.1mm Soldering Iron Tip of below aliexpress link,But I noticed that It is totally impossible to use this 0.1mm iron tip in the T12 soldering station
https://ko.aliexpress.com/item/4001275635593.html
Is there any good soldering station which is possible to use 900M-TJ-I tip and have inexpensive or reasonable price in aliexpress?
Any reply would be appreciated. -
by capriderHey,
I'm looking for some recommendations of a decent quality soldering station and a separate hot air station. I'm just a hobbyist, so even if (ultra)premium tools are not required, I still want some good tools. They should be available in Europe.
I now have a TS100 and some soldering irons and looking for some better tools.
1. Soldering station, budget around 200-240€
JBC BT-2BWA seems to be a good product in the budget.
2. Hot air station, budget around 200€
Up to now I've found ATTEN ST-862D to be a good option.... -
by deep000Hi,
I'm looking to get on Aliexpress a hot air soldering station for hobby use, nothing too fancy, just something "reliable" and budget-friendly.
Any recommendations for a "good" cheap one that gets the job done?
Thanks in advance -
by nbdyHI,
Have a QUICKO soldering station with no numbers for the model ... (think it's a KSGER or similar copy)
All worked nice, till some day it heats the iron till it was RED (HOT) ...
Turned it off, and tryed today again, and all the same, even with a second iron ...
The display shows that the iron is not connected, like not inserted in the handle ...
The second thing is that it has 6 pins connector and can't find a handle that is similar for my station ...
Has someone some advice what to do, where to look, even how to... - Loading...
