    G,
Best guess is it's an SMT edition of a self healing fuse.

I get no connection on these, my fluke measures nothing.

These are for anti-static protector like the VR in other devices. They short the spikes to ground, all of them are grounded. Good thing to do.

The resistors? The marking on these SMD itself says resistance value.

The other compoenents that is capacitors and protective devices like this should be open circuit. For zener it acts like diode when checked both ways.

            That all, cheers, Wizard

No, I meant the anti static smd protectors - I allready got smd caps and resistors.

Fluke 123 no image on the screen
                  by Khoja
                  Hello experts,

I recently purchased a used Fluke 123 Industrial Scopemeter from an online Japanese auction site (jauce.com). It has now been delivered. Unfortunately, I overlooked the fact that the seller neither guarantees its working condition nor accepts returns.

When I power it on, the backlight comes on, but there is no image on the screen. After opening the device, I noticed clear signs of previous soldering in several areas (photos attached). It seems someone attempted repairs before.

At this point, I'll have to try and fix it myself. Has anyone here...

Please help to identify component with marking eHFFH
                  by dutchgaucho
                  Dear BadCaps colleagues,

I'm working on a HP Omen 16-WF0894ND. Won't turn on. Battery is charging and 3 and 5V rails are present.
However, I located PU1801 that's only outputting 0.37v as soon as the power button is pressed. Weird voltage imo, although there's no short after the coil. Chip aint getting hot either. Since no diagram is available, I can't really determine what this rail is for, but I assume it might be a PCH PWR rail. Please help me to identify:

                  Chip marking eHFFH
                  Board model: LA-M783P
                  Please also see pictures attached.

hi all need help with IC marking is XA2LD Sot-23-5
                  by Barttech Computers
I'm trying to identify a small SOT-package IC marked "XA2LD" located near the 5V_FS rail on a logic board. The silkscreen shows it as U26/U25, and it's adjacent to components labeled R415, C232, L28, etc.

Here’s what I know so far:
                  • The IC marking is XA2LD (possibly custom or abbreviated).
                  • It’s likely involved in power switching or regulation (possibly a load switch or LDO).
                  • The package appears to be SOT-23-5 or similar.
                  ...

repairing a Fluke 335 clamp meter
                  by Baldbentley
I am repairing a Fluke 335 clamp meter. After contacting fluke it appears there is no service manual or circuit board/ component list available. I have determined that there us a faulty PNP bipolar junction transistors shown in the pictures. I am having trouble sourcing this transistor. I pulled a good one off of the board and tested it with my component analyzer but I cannot find anything that matches the specifications. Any help locating this part or a replacement would be greatly appreciated.

                  Thanks...
