Can the CH341A chip be programmed?

Is it possible to program the CH341A chip, because I bought a replacement part and replaced the damaged one, but the programmer does not read?
    Please help

ch341a does not contain any data - something else maybe wrong - check it's getting power

What chip are you trying to read. Which CH341A do you have, post a picture, and what software version are you using.

You have to inspect every track for connections and voltages, according to schematic.
What is the reason to chip die?

I bought a new chip for the programmer because the old chip was damaged and the new one when I installed it did not read on the computer and it does not sense it at all and the program I am using is version 2.2.10 it is the best program and I have been working on it for a long time because it is a very good program but the programmer does not read on the computer

The reason for the chip damage is that the IC was installed in the opposite direction, so the CH341A chip reached a high temperature and burned out.

post a picture of the board.

hi what is the job of "pin 25" ? In my programmer pin 25 is not soldered but mine works fine(read, erase, write, verify)

you can try one thing connect a capacitor from GND to VDD then try. your's and mine are same board and chip(CH341B not A)

In that case, check also fuse and vreg. The soldering job... I will redoing that, it not look promising. At least, check that you dont have mechanicaly loosing legs of IC (say... crucial pin#14 X0 looks like bumped by cold joint) by slightly pushing every pin by its side - it must staj firm, no any movement... and check to pin by pin do not touch by side eg pin#1 and #2... use flux in the proces.

Put back C2 also, it is 100nF on 3.3v rail.

The computer does not read the original programmer.

If power led turn on when connecting to working USB, then check if you have 3.3v present.

If LED stay off while inserted into usb, you have
                          - not vorking usb or
                          - not working led circuit or
                          - blown fuse or
                          - short on pcb

Check all that and report back with info.

The LED has green corrosion on one pad,and on the other its blackened. C1 looks like its metal ends are missing. The USB socket pins might have some corrosion on them. C2 is broken/missing. The soldering on the F1 fuse doesn`t look too good. Besides all that the 16 pin socket is very dirty inside.
Did you check the fuse, voltage regulator and xtal.

do you see the power led light up?
                              if not check the fuse-resistor,
if you do then look at the 12MHz crystal and it's 2 caps

The measurements are correct for a working LED but my computer does not recognize it.

The problem is not in the definition, the problem is in the IC

Can you measure the voltages in U1 ? Also, please re-check the soldering of the usb connector.

I am just wondering how much the programmer cost where you live. Isn't it cheaper to buy the programmer instead of trying to fix it? I just bought a new one from Amazon to find out if it reads the T2 ROM and it cost about $12 with two TSOP adapters and cables.
