30v 10A power supply output cable rating.

I’m looking at a cheap 30v 10amp max bench supply. Would the banana plugs, wires and a barrel connector (for laptop fittings) have to be rated at 10 amps ? It’s unlikely I’d see more than 5, but your thoughts would be appreciated.

if you had 10a cable it wouldnt fit in the barrel plug.

get good 4mm jacks though - you dont want them heating up.
go look at rapid for good range of test leads / plugs
