I think you should remove everything from the moBo and take a pic, but I would say BIOS chip is between battery screw and 8 pin flex cable connectorLeave a comment:

How to attach a type C cable to a DC power supply
Hi
Maybe somebody knows how could I attach a type C cable to a DC power supply for troubleshooting a macbook.
I have peeled the cable and and hooked the ground to ground and V+ to V+, but when I trie to charge a macbook it doesnt work.
I have seen an adapter, but first i would like to try and build my adapter by myself
