Question about a simple AVR Programmer

I was looking for a quick to build programmer and came across this schematic at ( http://electronics-diy.com/avr_programmer.php ).

Would a 1N5231BTR Fairchild zener be a decent choice for the 2 zeners shown in the attached pictures?

That should be fine, it is 5.1V 1/2W.
