    T-CON - BN41-02112a

    Hello Guys,

I'm facing a issue... hope you could help me.
    I have a T-CON board BN41-02112A from Samsung 48inch Curve TV.

Ok, i have 3 blue LED's they should be stable with the blue light.
But just only 2 are ON, the 3rd one doesn't turn ON at all.

Now i apply from my PSU 12V directly to check if something gets hot and find any short on components.
The PSU Fan spins and board is taking 0.449A and alternates sometimes to 0.588A

I try to test some test points and i get the right DC Voltage values.
    But at "VON" Pin/Pad i get 0.83mV
    And on Coil "LD02" i have 147.7mV

The Board CPU gets very hot... But i have to remove the dissipator to check the components... so could anyone help me figure it out?

Hi Guys main problem is your CPU is Bad, So that your coil is very hoting.

BN41-02112A is not the correct number to search for the correct t-con. The number must start with BN95 or BN96. You can find the correct number on the small white label.

        No coil get hot.
Only T-CON CPU gets very hot.
And the 3rd LED doesn't come ON.
The coil "LD02" don't have the right voltage i think that should have.

Hello, thanks for your observation, but seems at this PCB theres no one white label with BN95/96...

The only thing i have that could help me identify this T-CON was a printed words in white on PCB. you could check my picture on this thread.

What's the number on the 32 pin IC next to VON 81223 ?
Check the resistance between that coil and ground with the power off.

I have been checked better and i have another problem... on this TV...

So this is a Samsung UE48H8000SL - Curve LCD with 48" Smart TV.

So i checked the mainboard at ribbon cable connector, and i don't have the 12V on Input of that connector...

When i have PSU + MainBoard + T-CON connected only.
I don't have voltage on main fuse of T-CON (12V), this makes me think better and another problem exists on mainboard of this TV and not just on T-CON.

So i go back... to mainboard test and measure it, i really have the 12V from PSU... but they don't get into Ribbon Cable ... and i don't understand why...
Seems on last transistor before Ribbon Cable he don't let pass voltage to T-CON...

              im getting confused...
The Red Light of TV is always blinking 4 times and looping that.

                Thanks for your reply!!

Yes the 32 pin IC number is 81223.
                Your correct.

About resistence, i have 11.46 kOhm

MMM, that's 1 picture of 1 board, need straight on detailed pictures of each board and one of the whole back to see how they are connected, it's a little work but we're all working.

The T-CON PCB assembly is printed on the bar code sticker, see your picture in post 1
                        SK 'BN95-01329A' D27Q....

The 'BN41-02112A' is the P/N of the blacnk PCB which can be stuffed to make many PCBA's for the needed LCD panel.

it is much probably a P-CH mosfet, so the pin at 12v is the source, the pin to the lvds cable is drain, check the other (gate) it will be at 0v 'cause:
The Red Light of TV is always blinking 4 times and looping that
yes because it's in a error state of software thus shutting down tcon power.. i guess.

You can search tcon also with LSF480HQ02.
You have a missinig HVIN_R that feeds AVDD and VON, test the t.point to the right of LD02-DD02(big diode)-mark CD17, this is AVDD_R TP and it would be also 0v.
                          Near HVIN_R maybe there's a missing QD01??
Next test also to the right of the TCON-processor in the (C) area the TP 1,1v and HVIN_L TP.
